make sure you update bios as well (version 53)

Thanks a lot. Installing now. Bios is on 53. Does build 20 work for you?

Works flawlessly but have to select "Use fullscreen Window" mode instead of true full screen. If I don't the video is choppy.
Saw a setting that I didn't know off: "Number of buffers used by graphics driver". Is this new?

Are you seeing this setting in Kodi?

actually every build from 25 march works for me, but i got the dn 2820 with 2830 proc
Yeah, yeah... you and your uniquely special 2830 Wink.

I think I forgot to enable 'Use a fullscreen window rather than true fullscreen' w/the last build. Could be why I had stuttering and lip-sync error. Will be testing the April 20 build within the hour.

While I have @Skank and @movie78 here, I'm about to pull the trigger on these... do it? All refurbs.
- Yamaha RX-A3050 for ATMOS + DTS:X
- Yamaha R-S201 stereo amp
- NS-AW392 as 4x height speakers
lol its not that unique, im just saying that it might not be good to compare with me if u dont have the same one
about refurbs:
No ! Get the marantz !!!!!

Welcome to the 6D clubNodNod
Don't want to take us way off-topic, but why the Marantz? I know you had a reason in another thread.

I do have the Marantz:p older model SR7009 so no DTSx. I like it.

The SR7009 can Upmix DSU for both DTSHD and TRUEHD but the SR7010 can't, and 2CH Audio (music) up-mix doesn't work too well.

The SR 7010 can only up-mix DTSHD Track to Neural X and TRUEHD Track to DSU, not vice versa...The Yamaha Has no problem doing that.

Don't know if D+M is going to resolve that issue or not.

The only D+M has better than Yamaha is the Subwoofer Low frequency, but each his own, check both SR7010 and RX3050 Forum in the AVS Reciever Session and determine which one is good for you...

Doubt that was it, because I had the stuttering and lip-sync error last build, too. The 0420 build works really well for me (for playing 3D - still other non-3D issues that I have though).
truehd is upmixed to atmos
2 ch audio shoud be played as 2 chm it is meant to

For the SR7010
TRUEHD is UpMix to DSU ( DOLBY SURROUND UPMIXER)
DTSHD is UPMIX TO NEURAL X (DTS New UPMIXER)
i read on avs forum that the denon offerings will be getting a second dts-x update enabling just what you describe. Dolby to DTSx upmix.
also i strongly suggest going with in ceiling speakers as i've heard both setups at local AV shops and its really hard to beat a full in ceiling speaker directly above you
Sorry, OT (my fault) ... I've started a new thread on this in the 'Peripherals' sub-forum.

Back to Intel h/w and Kodi MVC builds Smile ...
