using the latest 2.0.1.2914 build and when I try to load my TV shows I get an "Unhandled exception..." dialog box Saying "Object reference not set to an instance of an object". Can anyone else confirm this or has a anyone a solution to this problem?

I've run into it a few times, but only in release and couldn't get it to pop up in debug mode. try running the command line updater for shows with the debug flag and pastebin the log (please)

miptvupdate.exe -debug >> debug.log
ok I ticked the "debug mode enabled" option in settings and then when I went to load the shows I get the error same as before and behind that the log ->
http://pastebin.com/m420d98e8
Maybe this has been mentioned before...
MIP won't run on Windows 7 x64 unfortunately. The splashcreen is shown when started, but the app never loads.

please try with the command line version, it'll output more info then the gui will
start > run
type in "cmd" and press enter

cd c:\program files

cd mediainfoplus

miptvupdate.exe -debug >> cmddebug.log

hmmm... config is what's being checked during load.. maybe try creating a blank config.xml file in the install directory and see if it opens.

if it does, open the settings (everything will be blank), try to save it and see if it'll save that file.
mip is running fine on my win 7 x64...
ok I get an error message report from windows such as "miptvupdate has encoutered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." when I try to do it from the command prompt. Anything else I can do?

Here's what I got in the command prompt below
