After using it some days, some more things were changed such as:
- Implemented widget preload to prevent ugly glitches on huge libraries or slow machines
- Changed and improved some other dialogs such as smartplaylist editor
- Better keyboard with auto completion support
- Fixed and improved weather window with the possiblity to preview upcoming weather forecasts
really liked this one. good job mate.
but still, i would love if someone would do a Enigma2 channel list approach.

Naa, wouldn't fit to the fTV style. This is the only way, which cause no widget animation glitch. And it's already approved by my wife -> ergo: WAF is high.
Recently changed:
- fixed wrong weather widget dimensions (last column was cut off)
- fixed incomplete bookmarks osd
- fixed ignored/wrong order directions for widgets with addon:// source
- Merged fixes and changes of the latest fTV release.
- Plus modded the new globalsearch layout

Thought about it. But since we already talk "Denglisch" in our country, I kept it until now. And "Bibliotheksaktualisierung" is such a terrible word
"Film Informationen" is already translated afaik.

Is there a way to show in one widget more than one Viewtypes?
Maybe like this:
The first line shows the poster view for film covers and in the next line is the square view set for all film addons or actor pics for example.

Yes, this is possible. But only if I rework a huge part of the widget settings part. Maybe in the future and if I'm in the mood.

This is something I've wanted to be able to do since I started this skin but every attempt failed.
If Kodi had a fixedgrouplist control then it would be easy.

I guess that's what you wanted:
But this won't override the set view type for the video window @iRobin. This means if your video library is set to Poster and you set 1 widget item as "Wide" and another as "Square" it always be in the poster layout. It only makes sense if you want to mix the correct items.
I did not have time to test my work completely yet, but it seems that everything is working. Already uploaded to my GitHub repo.
