Have I forgotten to tick a box somewhere or change a setting maybe?

It does the same thing, it sees the device but the 'timeout error message' appears when I try to access the folder.

Just trying again to access windows network (SMB) via file manager and it see the NAS but when I try to drill down to the next sub folder I still get the spinning wheel and the timeout message.

What version of OS X does your computer have?

The application requires 10.9 or newer

Could you potentially change the effecting values (TimeToLive, etc?) within the provisioning profile?

Could you elaborate?

Are you talking about changing default kodi settings or modifying the provisioning profile? I can't modify the provisioning profile because that's signed by Apple

I opened the .mobileprovision file to look at it. I was wondering that if you change
Code:
<key>ExpirationDate</key>
    <date>2016-04-17T18:13:44Z</date>

and

Code:
<key>TimeToLive</key>
    <integer>365</integer>

would that make the app run past the year?

It's not so difficult and you don't have to pay anything. If you can't find anyone, I'd help you tonight from 9pm Chicago time. I don't know where you're located.

Please make sure you already installed Xcode 7.2 on your Mac already and dowloaded the iOS App Signer.
If you have iMessage, you can send me private message where to contact you.
Norway? Nice country. I'm German born American.
