What version macos an xcode is needed?
usually any would work. Just that Xcode 15.0.x has issues with uploading ipa to device.

no issues yet i just finshed setup a VMware macOS Monterey with xcode 13.3.1 on my AMD pc.
we'll see of this gonna work.

i tried 14.3.1 and it didnt work 13.3.1 works but i cant see my apple tv in xcode

your Mac and atv must be on the same local network. You can also try adding device via its IP address: the + button in the bottom.

Are you able to login to iCloud and and use your AppleID? You might need to virtualize OpenCore etc to define a SMBIOS
