True, only the high-end Vizio support Dolby Vision.

PSBig Grinid not take long for @wrxtasy to jump inBig Grin

LG's OLED TVs and Super UHD TVs feature Dolby Vision

Did not know that, since I am trying to buy a Vizio, all I know now is VizioUndecided
Too much on aesthetics and benchmarks, lacking on a/v performance testing.
Are you jealous...Wink

Is there a secret beta f/w, they write the demo Sony camp hdr Work not smooth, but work

In my case i have only audio and no picture.
Hardly. Why do you think I started doing my own reviews?! Wink ... there are some guys/sites who do good reviews:

- AVForums Mark should be posting his Q10 Pro review any day now
- Lon.tv
- AnandTech Ganesh does detailed reviews of Intel h/w, including HTPC capabilities
- The NUC Blog Similar to above, but not enough on video playback/performance
- CNXSoft

Actually, if anyone likes other review sites, I'd love to know Smile. I honestly love reading more than writing myself.

We can say:
If you want something done right, you have to do it yourself!

@OlivierQC
about HDR video, do you compare PQ between q10 and Sony internal player?
Good morning loon Smile

i will do it this evening with exodus and life of pie.

EDIT: At first sight, the Picture Quality is better with internal video player Sony than the Shield TV, this is my opinion.
Q10 pro has arrived. Awaiting hdr f/w to start testing hdr with my hdr receiver and hdr 4k tv.
OK...Got my q10pro up and running...I also noticed the microstutter with 2160p content...

If I select a 10 bit video output it always defaults back to 8 bit. That's a known bug in the 1.01 shipping firmware?

I notice that video ouput is not as sharp with my dune prime 3.0 when playing some 1080p trailers. Some kind of softness to the image.

I left the imprex engine at default...colors do pop more when I have selected HDR 10 video output.

Honestly, i did not see any (big) difference between both on my 65’’ tv with my eyes, may be the picture seems to be better with the Sony internal player, more contrast and a little bit more sharper.

If the ExpressX engine V2 worked with UHD / UHD HDR videos, the Q10 pro will be better...it's my opinion

Good night
there are pink spot with Q10 pro and 4k hdr demo exodus

I found some thing about the pink spot, when i select 2160p 60hz there are here, but when i select 2160p 24hz, it's perfect not pink on the screen.

I'm having picture problems with Q10 Pro as well. When I select 1080p I get a green tint on some scenes but when I select 2160p 60hz it minimizes the green effect, I will try 2160 24p and see what happens.

Also in 2160p 60hz when I play 1080p movies I get ghosting when scenes change. Mostly there in dark scenes.

Question Oliver....when you boot your Q10 Pro on your Sony do you get green shadow around the HiMedia logo? It happens to me for a few seconds.

Hope HiMedia fixes all these problems with the next firmware.
