Sad to see you go fritsch, I wish you well for the future.
Damn and damn.

This is a very big loss for Kodi.
Kudos for everything you have done, fritsch. Very sad to see you leave! All the best for your future endeavors...
Very sad to see you leave.
I was so amazed with all the work you did here and also this thread.
I read all the post in this thread and ended up buying three braswell boxes since you were increasing their value so much by your work.

Do you have a twitter account or blog that we can follow so that we can see if you are working on something new and interesting?

In any case I wish you all the best for what ever you decide to do.

Warme Grüsse aus Bali,
David
So... where does this leave us?

Will the EGL development continue to be an ongoing priority?

fritsch talent and... prickliness will be missed. Tongue Cool

In the spirit of open source transparency I hope he can share how the Kodi directions and visions he has have diverged from those on which the "team" is embarking.
As others have said - sad to see you go but you have to do what you feel is right. Hope you find something new and fun to work on. You were an incredible asset to the project and I am sure you will provide tons of value in whatever else you go decide to get involved in.

Thanks again for all the help and good luck in the future!

Sucks Sad
Yeah, that is bad news. Thanks anyway for everything.
What a bad new! We're losing a phenomenon here!
@fritsch
Can you tell me/us if you are planning to do something different on your own? Kodi is still OpenSource so everyone can take the code and compile whatever he wants, right?
This Sucks BIG Time

Shocked Sad

But Thanks for all the help and advise Fritsch
That can´t be true, what a loss.
Really sad time.

Thanks for everything.
This is really sad. All the best Frisch and thanks for all your work.
Best wishes, Fritsch. A thousand thanks for everything.
Can only add to the thanks expressed here. Fritsch - your contribution has been huge, and you will be missed undoubtedly.
