 Thank you guy Wink
Does anyone have a good way of sharing video from the shield. I'd like to make a little demo video of my Kodi setup.
Believe you can enable screen recording from Settings > System > NVIDIA Share. Here's a screenshot (not mine).
So I just updated to Leia this morning and everything is working great but now my chapters and bookmarks no longer work on mkv files. Anybody else has this issue and/or know how to fix it?

Update: so I just noticed it only does it on movies with Dolby TrueHD audio and Dolby Atmos. I had no problems with Krypton 17.6 previously. I do need chapters and bookmarks for demo purposes at work.
I'm using the Aeon Nox Silvo skin, and after updating to Kodi 18, pushing any button on the remote to show the player buttons makes the whole image freeze for half a second, before the buttons pop up. I tried with the regular Aeon Nox skin too, with the same results.

Anybody else have this issue, and/or know a possible fix?

If it is not happening with the default skin, report it at the skin maker.
Quick question.

Does anyone knows how to add the INFORMATION (I) button on the Harmony One remote?
You mean codec info or context menu? I used Keymap Editor addon to map both.

 Context menu and show info.

So this working I need to connect a keyboard to the Nvidia shield and also add the Microsoft keyboard to the Harmony remote, please let me know if those steps are correct and if the not what is the correct steps for getting this to work.

Thanks @hdmkv  nice hearing from you.
All you need is the Keymap Editor addon from the official Kodi repo > Program addons, and you press the button(s) on your Harmony you want to map specific functions to, one at a time. Save, exit and use.

Just tried and did not save the button that I wanted to map to.
Which Harmony device do you have, if its hub based then you need to setup a windows computer device, connect teh hub as a bluetooth deicveto the SHield and map the I key (i think that info) to the info button on your remote.

If its not hub based the  think your only option if an FLIRC dongle - https://flirc.tv/ and map teh keys through that
Does anyone have a idea ho to refresh the suggestions from Kodi on the oreo homescreen? They are always the same and even deleted TV Shows are still listed.

Thanks.

The FLIRC is a good fit for the Shield TV - but don't first gen Shield TV (and all Pro Shield TV models as they are still effectively first gen) have an integrated IR receiver?  (This was dropped, along with the Micro SD card slot, on the second gen hardware)
Looking at buying a shield. I will be mainly watching UHD rips with HDR, Blu-ray rips and compressed 1080p files.

As far as I know, the only downsides are poor upscaling for non 4K HDR content and no Dolby vision. Is there anything else I should be aware of?

Also I’m thinking of using a hard drive attached locally to the Shield because I can’t run Ethernet. I’ve known some media boxes in the past to not be compatible with certain hard drives and certain hard drive sizes. Can the shield run essentially any hard drive through the USB ports?
