After a couple of months using this dsplayer kodi I still have the following problems:
1.any time I start to see a movie the image is too low, i have to enter the video menu, go to video sceen calibration and click on one of the blue angles and everything is resolved. I already done this in the main menu but anytime i start a movie the image is too low and i have to just click on one of the blue angles and all the other angles go to their place. Saving it's useless, it doesn't keep the calibration saved.
2. The subtitles are in the black bar area but once in a while they go up by themselfs.
I only have this problem with dsplayer, if i use the normal player the image is perfect(not low like dsplayer).
Thank you in advance

I still doesn't understand what for it's needed because I prefer to watch a HD content. There is only one possibility to including this in mainline it's if madvr will be just renderer. no DS-graphs no DS-filters, Kodi already has decoders, muxes and so on.
Do you have all 4K content? What happens when 4K screens start getting more popular? In any case, well... even a version using madVR as renderer would be a *BIG* step ahead afedchin. If you manage to do that it would be greatly appreciated, I think.
To aracnoz, thank you so much for not forgetting about us completely. I really, really appreciate your effort.
Have a nice Christmas and a great 2017!

Intel Kaby Lake
?
works with the jarvis version fine, with the krypton version not
well this was a lovely surprise so it was, will be testing soon as I get home.
Thank you so much for updating dsplayer for krypton. This is really the best thing for kodi I have seen really. I just couldn't stand not being able to get picture right and so on without. So with that, thank you again
Don't know what's different, but live tv is now using DSPlayer with the Krypton build. Wow. What a difference.
Which PVR backend are you using?
I'm going to give the DSPlayer v17 a test run tonight. What is everyone using? x86 or x64? What is your preferred audio render ReClock or Sanear and why?

x68 build and Sanear,
x68 worked fine, and I had addon issues with x64, but others reported fine, so I don't know. Might be my machine in general.
Sanear, because I hate that little 1 second drop of audio with ReClock at the beginning of videos. (Though I don't pass through or bitstream audio)

Make a backup copy before upgrading. The new build was buggy for me.
The choice of audio renderer is not important. Either ReClock or Sanear will do.
Ok, Finally tested out the DSPlayer x86 V17 with the latest Madvr, LAVFilters and Sanear. Man is this IMO the smoothest playback I have ever gotten with DSPlayer. The core code of Krypton has probably a lot to do with that too.
Hopefully we can keep getting someone to merge the changes into DSPlayer from the master branch of Kodi. Hopefully @
Wanilton will provide us with builds again
