Does MediaElch recognize all episodes? How are the NFO files named? The same as the media file but with file ending `.nfo`? :-)

I'm using MediaElch for TV shows. Now I have a little problem. The thumbnail size is much smaller then expecting. I'm using the advancedsettings.xml file, where I set this:
<episodeThumb>
<width>1920</width>
<height>1080</height>
</episodeThumb>
But when I finished the scrape, the thumbnail size is much smaller then this. When I click on the "Capture random screenshot" icon, then the correct size setting is done (ie. 1920x1080).
What am I doing wrong or how can it be fixed?

You are doing everything right and everything work as expected.
The scraper get the thumb from TheTVDB and they are still stuck in year 2005 so their thumbs are of piss poor quality. So you either make your own with a capture or download them elsewhere.
Not sure but I think the new scraper that's in the making will let you use other sources so hopefully it will soon be a non issue.

True. Sadly IMDb is also stuck at 400x225px and TMDb doesn't have thumbs for everything.

The images at IMDb are usually available at a higher resolution if you tweak the URL but they aren't that consistent with thumbs.
TMDb is by far the best with TVmaze as a good complement.
I usually get them from each shows homepage so I get the "offical" thumb, but I'm kind of picky

I'm doing that to get a 16:9 ratio. :-)
But I've checked the images for a few shows and episodes end most that I've checked aren't larger than 400x225...
TMDb is by far better.

because TheTvDb will switch to a paid subscription model, I may remove support for it from MediaElch.
Are there users that want to subscribe to TheTvDb (like 12$ a year) and want to use it with MediaElch?
If so then I may update the scraper so that it works with their latest API.
But if there aren't any then I don't see a point in keeping support for it.

No I'd rather see that you use your valuable time on something else than putting it into anything regarding The TVDB.
I don't see why people would be willing to pay for their service when there are others around that's both better in multiple ways and on top of that doesn't have a toxic staff that see their users as an annoyance.

Current issues:
Using TMDb may not scrape an IMDb and TheTvDb ID. It only does so if you select an episode and scrape it as a single episode. This may produce issues with the CustomTvScraper. But I'm working on it. :-)
And IMDb is _very_ slow. I currently load each episode on after the other and not in parallel. Didn't have time for that, yet.

How can i rename my .mkv without save all others files? ( .nfo .jpg and .png )
I wish to just rename .mkv files and not save before .nfo .jpg and .png, then rename .mkv file.
There is a way ?

But you could just rename the file in your file explorer and reload all movies or TV shows.

I'm sorry but MediaElch does not provide that functionality at the moment nor in the near future.
