I wiped the Rpi, did a fresh install of Openelec Gotham OS
fresh install following step 1 to install PsuedoTV.
-- so far so good.
installed the recommended addons and that is where the problem arose..
the super favorites - script failed
vevo - dependencies not met
ustvnow - no channels found in PTV.
please advise
I can provide you with the log if you want,
I DID verify the installation (as you said) of every dependency
thank you again for all your help
if you're getting errors from another plugin why ask here? Ask for help in each individual plugins thread.
with the ustvnow plugin, i believe that you wrote that version 9.9.9 - and it does not work at all, either in PTVL or as a stand alone. (in frodo it worked both).
Super Fav - no real fix for that yet
i did fix the vevo issue - (found a copy in the xbmc repo)

USTVNow plugin works fine!
I was wondering how long it normally takes to add all the channels and things to pseudotv. When I enable everything, it seems to take an hour plus to get everything done. The message on the screen says...
Adding Livetv, parsing XML
And it's going through the XML file for all the information for each channel. A snippet of the xbmc.log can be seen here....

Thanks in advanced.
If it's taking that long you will likely have to reduce the number of channels and crop your epg schedule.
all of this depends on which grabber and which way you are pulling down your schedule info

It's pulling down local information from my MythTV backend source...something kind of like
Code:
<setting id="Channel_48_1" value="I48.42274289.microsoft.com" />
<setting id="Channel_48_2" value="pvr://channels/tv/All TV channels/55.pvr" />
<setting id="Channel_48_3" value="xmltv" />
<setting id="Channel_48_4" value="" />
<setting id="Channel_48_changed" value="True" />
<setting id="Channel_48_rule_1_id" value="1" />
<setting id="Channel_48_rule_1_opt_1" value="UToo LiveTV" />
<setting id="Channel_48_rulecount" value="1" />
<setting id="Channel_48_time" value="1286" />
<setting id="Channel_48_type" value="8" />
I have the XML file setup in pseudotv to point to the my xmltv.xml file, which is prefilled with all the information from mc2xml. I'd have to say that all together, I have maybe about 75 or so total channels in the settings2.xml file. So far, it's going on two hours to fill this, and the CPU is doing nothing in top other than the xbmc bin running.
I'm going to let it run overnight, but it just seems like it takes awhile to fill the EPG in pseudotv.

You mean pseudotv live! Let's keep things clear... no need to refer to another plugin.
Try disabling find missing guide data.

Lunatixz first of just wanted to encourage you to keep up the good work, is it possible to split the the media limit per channel into TV and movie groups rather than as a global setting because if you set it to unlimited it can slow down PSTVL and if you don't you don't get all of the TV episode but if you use a TV and a Movie setting you could have TV set to unlimited and Movies to a lower setting hopefully not slowing down PSTVL thanks in advance
I just can't get super favorites to work. Added Channel_1 folder and put some videos from the food network plugin in there. When I start up PTVL, it just hangs on Loading...

Still getting the same thing with ulive. Is super favourites with PTVL basically just hit and miss? Videos work fine directly in the super favourites plugin. I also tested both directory structures.

::EDIT::
It works fine
You just need to make sure the links actually play videos, a lot of them are dead, I just tested season 9 of the next star... and it loaded...
Damn auto correct, I meant OLD not bold... any way I'll take a look it's usually hit or miss, but It won't hurt for me to check

Ok... thanks. The show I was specifically testing was Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives (Food Network). Like I said... videos play fine in ulive as well as super favourites. No dice in PTVL.

I'll test that exact show

Umm it works great, lol...
Are you sure you are using the latest copy? are you adding to xbmc favorites? then copying that link to the super favs folder?

Pretty sure I'm on the latest version and yes I copied to Channel_1 directory in super favorites.. Then I tested playing the video directly in super favorites and it worked fine. Since it's just my issue though, I guess I'll figure it out.

are you using auto-tune or manually adding super favs?
