Just to update this problem, I ran the update on one of my Kodi machines and it locks up at the same spot, which is where it tried to begin loading my second channel... which is a directory channel that contains a stream file from my HDHomeRun

What is odd though is my first channel is a directory channel as well it it works fine on it...

If I back up to 57d the machines work fine still with no other changes on my end...

The latest is 0.5.7f not e.

Sorry, I didn't realize my system went through two updates... I had been running 57d on all my machines.... anyway, neither one of those updates will work on either machine... I had to rollback to 57d on the each machine, both lockup at the same place with 57e and 57f, as I tried the e version as well....

log dude - where is the log? you expect any kind of help from the dev and or the community you need to provide a proper log so if luna does not get back to you somebody else can at least take a look.

So far so good for me with 5.7f. Big improvement on the artwork speed. I am only running smart playlist channels so I am not testing any of the streaming or auto channels yet but I could see an immediate improvement with the epg.

Solved my problem again thank you for the addon running Kodi with PTVL 5.7f so far great. Looking forward to getting the favorites linking a bit more mainstream anyway. still reading through the thread left off around page 114.... ill get there oh and it was a value 9 BTW

Hey Lunatixz, love this addon, really. One question, can i add live-tv from my vu+/enigma2 plugin into your pseudotv live ?

Luna, no complaints here, just wanted to thank you for this plugin. More than just being able to give up my set top box and have something familiar for the wife to use, I genuinely enjoy creating channels and logo's for my personal set up.

Keep up the amazing work, always appreciated here. I'll be donating to you very soon, it's the least I can do.

Love this add-on--favorite hands down. I am, however, running into one problem:

I have about 25 channels, but the USTVNOW channels seem to take while. It happens in the morning first time I boot up Kodi and PseudoTV.
for the day. Has anyone experienced this long time to parse the live channels? I get the updating channel X screen and then it takes 10-15 or even 20 minutes to add all the USTVNOW entries. Once the USTVNOW channels are done, the other channels load in seconds.

Anybody know what could be going on? I'm not at home, but would a log file help diagnose this problem. I couldn't find anything by searching the forum.

Been in and out of here for a while, so I've missed some of the recent progress. I had a few questions that I haven't found an answer for through searching this enormous thread.


1) I know that local music (NOT videos) channels were planned, but were not currently functional. Has anything changed on this front, or has anyone found a way to get local music channels working?

2) I know several people were having trouble with advanced rules not working. For example, I am setting up local channels with "play in order" and back to back episodes (set # of eps in a row) rules applied, yet my channels still seem very random (not in order/only some shows play back to back while others are only single episodes). Has anyone found a fix for this, or what is causing it?

Hey Luna, love how 0.5.7f isn't crashing for me anymore. That's awesome. However I now have three more issues. Any idea on how to fix them?

First problem, these notifications keep popping up. For movies I don't even have! Why does it keep doing this? 75% of my channels are local and I have no streaming movie channels. How can I make these go away forever.

Second Problem: I love that Titanium (I think that's what it's called?) skin that the guy posted a few pages back. LOVE IT. But ever since the update it no longer works. I can only use the PTVL live skin. It just freezes (image below on what it looks like when it freezes) any ideas?

Third Problem: XBMC isn't very good at picking up documentaries so I just throw them in directories. All previous versions had the directories randomized. Now every time I do a "channel reset" it has all directories start at the same sport every time with identical channel lists. How do I go back to the randomization?
