new dash feature is working great for me for 1080p60 and 4k30

however, It never plays 4k60, is that not supported yet?
A bit angry...

Every things was good with my Jarvis installation. I did an upgrade and... My Youtube addon don't work anymore.

I know, i've read all your threads jdf76, but i've still have an error :

What i must do, please ?

Thanks in advance...
@Ghizmo34, this occurs with pyopenssl 16.1

Would start by trying to upgrade that,
pip install pyopenssl==16.2.0
I seem to be having a problem with searching. Sometimes when I attempt to search, the search fails and it shows me the recent searches instead. This appears in the logs:

Code:

Looks like you're running an ancient version of the plugin, I would suggest trying the latest version (5.3.9) that will also give you better response as to why it might be failing.

Jeff
Thanks; the update option was disabled so I assumed I had the latest version. Uninstalling and reinstalling gave me the new version.
Hi boys... i have so many buffering issue whit youtube and 5.3.9........ sometime for resolve this issue i need to remove the video from playlist and restart to watch from beginning. If i not remove the video from playlist it's also useless to step back the reproduction because apparently the video appears like to be corrupted or i thinks caching like missing parts. If i remove the video from playlist and restart from beginning fix all this issue.

It's possibly the problems it's caused by 17.1RC1.... i have read the RC3 fix somethigs whit caching.............. it's possible ? There's so other people using OSMC on PiX obtain some issue whit general caching (i have also tryed to modify my advancedsetting.xml.. but it's not usefull) ?
From info screen (music) usually I can stream song clips from YouTube but now it says "no YouTube id found. I activated the account on my PC and can use the addon alone without any errors.

tried this... there is no pyopenssl package
also i have noticed something odd
i can play 1080 videos BUT only if the videos are at 1440.
if the video is at 1080 then it will play at 720.
wierd stuff

But there's a problem: the posts appear in random languages each time I like a vid: sometimes in english, german, chinese etc.

The Tweets look like this if they're english (literal translation from the usual dutch Youtube app on my Galaxy S4)

"I liked an @YouTube video from @youtubechannelstwitter
<Link to video> Video title"

Has jdf76 or anybody a fix for that, or a way to change the language of those posts?

(You can like a Youtube vid by holding down Enter/right clicking/pressing C on the video > More > Rate... > I like this)

^ Uhm... can anyone help me? seems like no one sees me or is skipping me ^

(2017-01-22, 10:01)jeks Wrote: [ -> ]Yes it is an issue related to Estuary Skin (seen/unseen works with youtube 5.3.4 but not with 5.3.6 ou 5.3.8), maybe it's fixed in nightly builds but not on RC3 (I don't use Kodi's nightly builds). I use Youtube 5.3.8 and seen/unseen works fine in Titan Skin. Smile
I can confirm the same issue on Kodi 16.1 with Artic Zephyr and Confluence skin.
I've tried hiding watching on 17 with Titan and Estaury Skins and it won't hide videos marked as watched.
I'm not entirely conviced this isn't a YouTube add-on issue vs a skin issue.

Some skins won't show the toggle, but the ones that do it doesn't have any affect on.

No, not really, we're not skipping you, i just don't know the answer to your question. it could be due to an API Change really. I'm not sure off hand, i can try and look at it but i wont guarantee i'll find you a result.

I'm sorry I have no knowledge or information about this subject. Hopefully someone else will.

What leads you to this conclusion? Have you posted in the relevant skin threads? What has been the Skin Developers response?

Please also refer to information regarding this subject in the FAQ in Post 3 on Page 1 here and use that and the relevant links there as a reference when discussing this matter with your Skin Developers.
@anxdpanic,

Thanks a lot !!!!!!!!!!!
