1. API is not returning anything
2. You have a login error.

I would assume #1 though.

I removed the addon, then deleted the data directory, and finally reactived. Seems to be working now.
Is there any way to do it on Android ?

I'm a tool, hadn't kept up to date on things and seems there's just a simple ubuntu package available for the addons and then to enable in Kodi....I forgot to do the second part.

All seems to work well (1080p/60fps)

Very nice, thank you.

Any info on changelog vs the first .24 beta posted previously, the commits listed in the github that haven't been compiled right?

Don't want to be cheeky but if anyone has a source for inputstream.mpd compiled for Krypton...that would be great, the cmake system seems to need almost coder level knowledge to use.

Regardless, thanks indeed for posting.

Erm, wait i think i may have your question wrong... but just incase heres the link for input stream and the kodi repo for binaries, plus kodi itself.

inputstream.mpd

How add dash 1080p to strm files. I can't play it in 1080p
5.2.2 correct me or say to me how i can fix:
- The "Watch Later" feature it's not work ?

- The "Order" of serch result it's not completely fixed ? On PC i can use search.... select "Order by Data" and i can obtain all video from today to previous day after days. On Kodi apparently i made a "Search".... i choose "Data" on order and apparently on fist page i can see the video of today but if i select "Next Page" sometimes i can found another recent video and again on page three or four..... apparently the "Order by Data" it's not completely worked also on PC... right ?
Regarding dash in the latest beta zip;

Kodi 17 and inputstream.mpd Add-on are required
inputstream.mpd may be included with your installation of Kodi 17, and some installations will be require it to be enabled and/or installed.

Some examples I could find; ** again note ONLY Kodi 17 installs. Windows and OSMC only ones personally used/tested.

- Ubuntu(other linux distros may be similar): sudo apt-get install kodi-inputstream-mpd
- LibreELEC: "... you'll need to install the inputstream.mpd add-on from the LibreELEC Add-ons repository"
- Windows: Checkbox during installation under "Inputstream Add-ons" (may be disabled by default)
- OSMC: Nightlies have this included (may be disabled by default)
- Android: may be disabled by default

Where to find inputstream.mpd if installed:
Add-ons - Add-on Browser - My Add-ons - VideoPlayer InputStream

See here for an explanation of how inputstream.mpd handles bandwidth/resolution.

Also worth noting that not all videos will have dash playback at the moment, vevo content for example does not.

The Watch Later feature has a work around/resolution in the latest beta zip, it is not working in all other version at the moment.

Remember, this is beta, means it's got no support so don't use it unless you know what you're doing.

Also back up your stuff.
3 days ago I could watch Youtube videos fine. Yesterday midnight it did not work any more.

Okay, I updates my system, so before crying here around, I de-updated (switched back to the previous versions ogf the few packages), but this does not help either :-(

The effect is: I start the YouTube plugin and it asks me to enter some code in my youtube account. Okay, I do that. Then I see a part of an error message, but I cannot read all, since the just a part scrolls (horizontally) into the visible area before the message bubble vanishes.

This is the error I see in the log file
http://pastebin.com/406qJpy0

When I move away the directory .kodi then I can watch Youtube videos. But I do not want to throw away all my database because this would sure mean that the videos I already watched show up again :-(

Any idea what and how to fix without loosing all the history?

Fixed the error by moving away .kodi directory, start kodi without any local setup, log in into youtube and finally copy the lines with kodion.access_token and kodion.access_token.expires from the file .kodi/userdata/addon_data/plugin.video.youtube/settings.xml from that temp. directory to the real one.

Now still an error shows up, something with exceed some limit (but still the bubble with the message vanishes before I can read all). The log file does not show that message, it does not show anything suspicious :-(

Used this way:
https://discourse.osmc.tv/t/howto-youtub...od-1/13368
In addition I had to remove a few more lines from settings.xml:
youtube.api.id, youtube.api.key, youtube.api.lastused.*, youtube.api.secret
Then I was asked to activate the two keys and it seems to work again.

==> FIXED

Thanks for this I found the inputstream situation slightly baffling, I can confirm the Ubuntu instructions work.

Using InputStream fixes the live stream issues people have had using Kodi 17.

I talked to the inputstream.mpd guy. He just said it was the KODI team's responsibility to package it with KODI.
