Nope
Hi , when scrolling through my movie and tv show libraries, is it possible to turn off the background fan art that appears when i highlight a widget or list item , If I turn off "show background images " in skin settings , i lose all BG's completely , I have a single plain custom BG that i want see in all views. Reason for this is when I highlight a library item the background fan art makes it difficult to read the program/movie info ?
many thanks.
Sorted thanks , disabled " show video playback in background ".
Great skin this , the PVR , widgets showing permanently on home screen with programme info is better than anything i have seen in other skins, add to that the ability to change channel "groups" from home screen in both "channels" and "guide" views,without having to go into a side panel is unique to this skin I think and just perfect.
thanks.
Hi,  is it possible to make a favourite as a main menu item?
I'm asking because I want my homevideo's in the main menu. I made my homevideos as a favourite.
There is an option to choose a favourite in the moviehub, but you can not choose this for the main menu.
maybe there is an other waty to make my homevideos as a main menu item?

Yes there is. You need to create a Custom Home Item... https://kodi.wiki/view/Custom_home_items
@Aaiemron

I'll take a lookt into it.

@Karellen
That doesn't apply to Embuary Wink

Should be working now with this commit.

Oh, right. Thanks @sualfred I wasn't aware of that.

It seemed like such an easy question to answer so I thought I would pop in and help out. Wink

I'm sorry. It's almost working. You can now indeed choose a favourite as a main menu item. But when I click on it, it brings me to another submenu with movies tvshows, files, addons.  Then I have to click on files and there I see my homevideo folder and movies folder. etc. But isn't that a step to many?
I hope you know what I mean.
Can you please provide me the item details of your favourites.xml? It's stored in you userdata folder of your Kodi installation.

I've only tested it with a TV show and a episode (folder and file) and had no problems.

Yes I will when I'm home. The only thing I can tell you at this moment, is that when I add a favourite in the  moviehub (or tvshowhub etc.), then it shows immediately the files in my homevideo folder. Without the extra step
Please don't name banned add-ons thanks.

Haha, sorry,  but that not an addon. That is a part of the Embuary skin. When you for instance click on "All movies", than you enter the "moviehub"
It's that part of the skin what I'm talking about
Oooops

Then I have to apologize. I'll revert the editing above again.

Didn't know that, sorry Wink
