so I thought the issue of HD audio passthru with the use of a LSPCON was fixed for Kabylake/ApolloLake, but went to test with recent builds here and getting no audio for Dolby TrueHD and DTS HD-MA streams when using a USB-C to HDMI 2.0 adapter (which Kodi correctly identifies as a DisplayPort output).

What has the USB-C to do with the internal LSPCON of the kabylake nucs? Same LSPCON? It for sure won't take the intel gpu driver path

my understanding of the issue was it related more to the handling of audio/ELD when connected to a DisplayPort output of the GPU than the actual LSPCON itself (though the NUCs had issues with the LSPCON itself as well)

I had a different understanding here :-)

#0721 - I am getting irregularly freezes ... libreelec still accessable via ssh but GUI stops responding ... I cannot identify a specific action;
happens when playing/navigating music, watching/navigating movies or already at startup when loading widgets ... to me it seems has been getting worse after #0712;
changing skin to standard Estuary does not help; anything else I could try?

Was able to upgrade on TFTP server and boot just fine with NFS boot and storage.

Thanks, we still need to determine why the changes to glibc broke the RPC protocol support in initramfs (which is what prevents NFS from being mounted).
