Mine rpi3 is also overclocked.
Yesterday i watched a 1080p hevc 8 bit and it reached 72°C and it wasn't get any higher.

Using the FLIRC aluminium kodi case.

I wonder what temperature it will reach with standard overclock settings...

I had now testet hevc1080p 8bit and had temperature not over 77°C

It works fine with 810.

When i remember it correctly, 808 worked fine too and 809 had this flicker issue too.

This is confirmed (and somewhat understood), although it only seems to affect the Sandman Amazon addon. No fix yet, developers are cogitating.

If you mean you've lost access to files shared by the LibreELEC Samba server, then if you're using a custom Samba config you'll need to fix it: https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid...pid2599284

If your files are on a different Samba server try adjusting the Samba max protocol in System > Settings > Services > SMB Client > Maximum protocol version (needs Advanced/Expert level settings) as your server may be buggy and unable to support the latest protocols reliably.

Also be aware that anonymous access to Samba shares no longer works so use always use a username/password. Also, network browsing no longer works when SMB1 is disabled.

If none of the above helps you'll need to provide more details about your network in particular your Samba server (make, model, Samba version, what SMB protocols are enabled).
Thanks Milhouse,
now i'm able to make changes with WinSCP from my office...
Is there any chance to disable the audio description in the netflix addon?
After upgrade from #813 to #814 netflix is playing every stream with audio description very annoying.

I can't find any settings to turn that off.
If i play netflix fom my laptop i have not audio description.

Am i missing something?

EDIT:

It seems it has effect only the netflix originals streams.
If is select another audio stream while playing a stream netfllix hangs and eventually it plays the stream with selected audio but there is no audio only video.

What happens if you disable omxplayer in video/acceleration settings?

its better (video is playing but it take long time to load it) and whole interface is slow and barely functional i think i have problem because my board is 256mb ram and this is too little for build after 504

Didn't try Amazon Video in a long time. Glad it's working again!

But do i have to disable hardware accelleration if i want to watch Amazon Video?

I'm using hardware accelleration for BluRay images and for TV (DVB-S2 Streams) un my RasPi 3.
(2017-08-17, 12:21)start78 Wrote: [ -> ]But do i have to disable hardware accelleration if i want to watch Amazon Video?

The default (and recommended) settings of omxplayer disabled and mmal enabled should be fine.

A 256M Pi1 is really pushing it for running the latest version Kodi. It is just not enough memory.

Are you sure #504 is okay, and #505 is bad? There isn't anything obvious in the change list of that build that would increase memory usage significantly.
positive, all builds after 504 are problematic before build 505 i was using all nightly builds without problem and i was always up to date and now i guess it's time to upgrade hardware
