Hello!  @Fuchs2468

I understand that you are currently busy updating the Titan MOD skin for Nexus and then Omega, so I have a request, but it's nothing urgent.

I once wrote about adding an additional "i+" button to the Titan MOD skin. Now a similar proposal using script.extendedinfo (version 6.0.7 or higher).

Suggested use of functions in Titan MOD:
- When playing a video, stop it in the OSD information menu  (PAUZA).
1. Click "i", provides general information about the video.
2. Then click down (the button below "OK" in the Android TV remote control), an extended information panel for movies/actors with the script.extendedinfo will open (so-called additional information).

As requested by @Fuchs2468, if you find time, please implement this feature in the Titan MOD skin.  In my humble opinion, this feature will surely appeal to many users of the excellent Titan MOD skin.   Smile

Thank you

Edit: I mean enabling the extended information function in the Titan MOD skin, the function described in point 2. Of course, the method of enabling extra info itself does not matter much. It can also be done while watching a movie by pressing the "i" button and then the lower button as described in point 2 or by pressing the additional "i+" button for additional information. Opening additional information about the movie and actors from the OSD level during pause is a very cool function. This is the only feature that I really miss in my favorite Titan MOD skin.
Does anyone know if kodi has a 4 gig limit on reading or accessing RAM memory?

I just got the Dune 8K player and supposedly it has 8 gig RAM.
I say that because its advertised that way, yet within any of its apps (about, settings etc..), I can not find anything that verifies 8 gigs.
I am still in contact with them as to how I can verify 8 gigs.

When I first installed kodi and titan mod, the memory readings were all over the map... strange high and low readings, that I've never seen before.
After several reboots, updates, and by the time titan mod was fully installed, the RAM readings have normalized, but at 4 gigs RAM not 8.
Everything does seem much faster and smoother running than my zidoo z20 pro (4 gig RAM), but still curious as to why kodi only reads 4 gigs and why the RAM readings were all messed up after the install (using the latest Omega nightly builds)
thanks
A Kodi 21 Omega version for Titan Mod is now available.

Version: "21.1.27"

Repo update to version "1.0.2" is required.

No Kodi does not have a 4GB Limit for memory use. Kodi will use what's needed and nothing more.. I think you use most of the memory when Kodi is playing a movie and will cache a movie but I could be wrong. I do know it can use more then 4GB though.

I'm sure your Dune 8K player gives you more memory then needed just to be safe...

Great job... Everything seems smooth...
Just installed on Omega RC1.

Thank you for the easiest Titan install in years!

Nice elements and views in the media library & Win 10 wide looks
I just started playing around with it, so far everything is running nice
@AchillesPunks
Thanks for the info, I am still messing around with it, but kodi seems to run smoother than on my zidoo, so I think it is taking advantage of the extra RAM... but I am still not really sure

Hi @Fuchs2468,
Everything is running smooth, nothing major to report so far just some cosmetic stuff..

Windows 10 look:
For the new wide look, the wide image seems cropped too much. Is it possible to do either,
1. Reduce the size of the image so more of it fits in the new box, I think even a 4x3 pillar box look would be better because it would show more of the image, or..
2. 'Spit' the image screen into 2 sections, put the image (thumb or poster) on one side, and the info text on the other side. I think this would show the full image.

If you choose to set the widget as either 'square or Landscape', the result is that the thumb image shows twice on the homescreen (this is an old issue). If you choose to set the widget as 'small poster' the you will get 2 different
images when on the homescreen (the poster and the thumb). I noticed this on other Looks as well and not just the Windows 10 look. If the views or Looks have 2 places to show images, then I think the images should be different by default.
One area should show the poster, the other should show the thumb. In the settings, there is a 'Prefer fan art in landscape views' setting. On the windows 10 homescreen, turning this on or off has no effect when choosing the landscape widget.

Media library views under Windows 10 look (and some other looks as well):
Choose view options ' Thumb details, Thumbs, or any of the 3 Landscape views..
There are tags shown on top of the image (black bar), but you can also enable tags in the view options, this will show new tags below the image as well (so now the tags are shown twice, on and below the image).

Overall... I noticed that some of the tags, (the ones that show below the image), now get resized (and/or the images get resized) instead of pushing images off the screen when the tags are shown. This is good, but some looks do this, some do not.
I think it may be related to the same Landscape/Thumb image being the same, or maybe whatever views are chosen.

I'll try and test some more for you in a few days, right now I am fighting with HDD formats and copying over many TB Smile

Thanks
Hi @Fuchs2468,

The first time I installed 21.1.27, it was an update over xx26 version and the new Win10 look did not work. All I seen was 8 widget posters (no info screen at all).
But.. I also had Vanilla skin installed as well (on Omega). I think the problem was Vanilla and not updating rather than a clean install. I am not sure.

I do not think Vanilla should be installed with Titan Mod, I think they conflict with each other.
One thing I noticed is after Vanilla is installed, playlists are no longer in their usual directories in Titan Mod when setting up the homescreen.
You have to look under skin helper service widgets to find them. Things overall do not run smoothly anymore once you start loading up playlists on the homescreen.
...again, this is only while Vanilla is also installed..

Just a heads up..
Hello @Fuchs2468, thank you for the Nexus update!

Just reporting a small bug I never had before:
in pvr, channel logos appear only for a brief moment on the left side of OSD when switching tv channel, but then fallback to generic media icon
https://imgur.com/cZkDoWY
same with all OSD styles. Is it just me?

Thx in advance!

I didn't make any changes to the OSD menu.
All channel logos are displayed for me.
Are the channel logos displayed when you test with the "Estuary" skin?

No they aren't, same issue.
So it doesn't seem to be Titan MOD-related, thx.

I'm wondering what could be the trigger, I haven't changed a single comma on my setup since months...
What should be the source for tv logos on OSD? They correctly appear in TV list and guide

EDIT: nevermind, I found the culprit (wrong logo directory, auto switched to default somehow). Your mod is just awesome as usual, sorry!

Thanks for the info.
This is a mistake on my part.
It will show up again in the video info after my next update.

Still working fine on my end:

BTW, have you ever considered to add this quite useful info on Netflix Landscape view too? Maybe something like this
I always thought that it's somehow "hidden" in the upper info page...
Thx!
