@jdig4240 , you are welcome.  Could you please try the latest from GitHub? I made the changes so that the menu is only lowered when the widgets are focused if both bottom shortcuts and shelves info are enabled.  This should let you use bottom shortcuts and have shelf info, as you requested.  Please let me know if this is working as you expected.  Thanks.

Bart
Ohh, so perfect!! Yes, its working great, thank-you!!

I do notice it drops the bottom shortcuts, but not the main menu when focusing regular widgets though, not sure if thats intended or not. No biggie, just thought I would point that out...

Hmm, wait, it seems it only did that with the system info widget for some reason...

Ok, so it drops the bottom shortcuts on any single widget, which I really dont mind, doesnt really bother me or anything, just letting you know..

@jdig4240 , thanks for reporting this.  It did this with all static widgets.  I just fixed this on GitHub, and I also added the setting to fade out unfocused main menu items.  You can find the new setting here:

And it looks like this:

Actually, I kinda like it. If i click show information, even on a single widget it will drop down both , main menu and shortcuts, which i think i prefer anyways..so its all good really..

Ok, awesome. Will try now...
Oh, so much better on both fronts, thank you for this. Looks great!
Looks so much better with the unfocused menus faded, perfect.
Hey bsoriano, I know im asking too much, but here it goes. So I really like how the Main menu moves down and hides the bottom shortcuts when widgets are focused. Is it possible to make this default even if show information is not enabled? So if I were to set show two shelves together it would be nice to drop the menu and bottom shortcuts and display the two widgets. For example I have a main menu with 2 widgets for weather, Daily forcast and hourly above that, it would look really nice to drop the menu and bottom shortcuts and display the two shelves together without enabling show information, which makes one section blank since theres no information to display. I just like the feature you made where it drops the main menu and bottom shortcuts and would look great for any widgets with the show two shelves button on.

It almost "Kinda" works like this already if I enable show two shelves together, even without Show information on, It drops the main menu, but doesnt drop the bottom shortcuts which blocks the bottom widget. I guess the same would apply to "Show Three Widgets" option. So I guess to sum it up, it would be great if the main menu and bottom shortcuts dropped down when widgets are focused and Show Two, or Show 3 widgets are enabled.
Hi Bart

Been having issues lately with github versions; when playing video, open subtitles, bookmarks, audio or video settings window and go back to player controls, have to press twice back button to close player osd, all other controller buttons doesn't work. Amber on kodi repo doesn't have these issues. I'm using android

Also was gonna translate this new string on weblate but seems like amber translations are locked and can't be done.

@jdig4240 , your request makes a lot of sense, and I already started that work.  I will complete that as you ask.
