I am out of town and cannot verify this. The URL looks valid, three most likely options (in descending order):

1. You are not in the UK.
2. Temporary issue on the CDN side
3. Issue in Inputstream Adaptive. We had this some time ago with IA calculating incorrect offsets.
Hi.
I am having some problem with iplayer 4.0.5 and libreelec 10.0.2 / 10.0.3 (raspberry pi 4)
Although "Watch Live" works and I have no problem watching the channels via a a VPN
I do have issues browsing the content for example when going to Categories and then Documentaries, it will initially start finding episodes but it fails with an error

HTTPSConnectionPool(host='www.bbc.co.uk', port=443)
Max retries exceeded with url:
/iplayer/categories/documentaries/all?sort=atoz&page=2
(Caused by SSLError(SSLError(1,'SSL:
SSLV3_ALERT_HANDSHAKE_FAILURE] sslv3 alert handshake failure(_ssl.c:1125)')))

any idea what is wrong?Did a certificate expire?
@spooker1

VPNs are not TeamKodi's concern as there is no support for them on this forum. What is a problem are the repository.bugatsinho repository as well as the SportHDme add-on. The former is already on the banned add-on wiki page, and IMO the latter should also be on there.

So unless you have evidence to the contrary, please remove both from your Kodi setup, and provide an new debug log (wiki). Support is halted for the time being.
Thanks. I have uninstalled repository.bugatsinho and SportHDme add-on.
Here is the new log. Do you need anything else?

@Klojum any idea what is wrong?
Question: is it possible to watch the football in 1080p with this add-on?

Thanks very much!
The add-on gets the web streams which are at 720p.
As long as the BBC web site keeps it at that, that is all we are going to get.
ah too bad. Thank you for the quick reply! I thought there might be hope because it's 1080p now on the Android app. BBC always too damn slow ...
Does the BBC red button trials work for anyone? I remember watching the FA cup in Ultra HD a few years ago on the add-on in Kodi via the red button channels.

Wasn't able to start any stream this time around.
Hi everyone,

I have no idea when this started happening, but it seems to have been broken for the last couple of weeks.

Everything else in iPlayer is working fine, except for watching live.

Live used to work fine. However, when I try now, it just says ... "IPLAYER WWW ERROR, CHECK THE LOG FOR MORE INFORMATION"

I'm using an Odroid N2+ device.

I believe everything is up to date.

How can I debug this? I don't even know where to find the log? I can log into the system via ftp, but couldn't find a relevant log file.

Any ideas?

Thanks
The instructions are here... debug log (wiki)

If you are using the Basic Method, then ensure the following is applied...
1.Enable debugging in Settings>System Settings>Logging,
2.Restart Kodi
3.Replicate the problem.
4.Upload the log to Kodi Paste Site manually or use the Kodi Logfile Uploader. (wiki) With either method post the link to the log back here.

If you are using the Advanced Method ensure you have correctly created and applied the advancedsettings.xml file (wiki)

In both instances, you should see the word DEBUG throughout the log.

Note: Full logs only. No partial or redacted logs
Do NOT post your logs directly into the forum. Use the Kodi Paste Site. Post the link to your pasted log in the forum
Hi Dangelus,

Thanks so much for the instructions!

I've just done that.

Here's the link ...

Have I done that correctly?

No, Red Button is not supported at the moment.

@daminator I believe so and I can see an error associated with the addon in your log.

I have merged your thread into the main iPlayer WWW support thread as you will likely get much better visibility for your issue here.
Thanks for this, Dangelus.

Can anyone help with this?

Dangelus has moved my thread hear and things that he can see an issue in my log file.

Can anyone help me to fix the issue?
@daminator
The red button used to work, you are correct.
The method the BBC streams the events has changed ,
therefore the red button content is no longer available through the addon.
