Wondering if someone can help me though, I have a freezing on start-up problem that only seems to happen with new nox 3. Worked fine to start with until I did god knows what (maybe tried to access TV schedule from home screen?..maybe), XBMC froze, so I force quit, but then when I tried to restart xbmc, I get the busy spinning circle from nox then a freeze everytime. I've deleted nox3 from .....\AppData\Roaming\XBMC\addons to get back to confluence, I've disabled just about every service and addon with no luck. I'll do a complete reinstall of xbmc if there's no luck here, just hoping someone who knows a lot more than me can check out my debug log before I start fresh again. cheers

While frodo is not yet supported, I can tell you that deleting script.randomitems will solve your problem.
Deleted the script.randomitems folder in ....\AppData\Roaming\XBMC\addons but still froze. All ok though, rolled back to Eden and Nox3 is loading fine. Thank you for the great work on the skin.

3. Aeon Nox isnt reading my cbr (comic) files, i've added them as a custom favorite (from file mode) and added them to comics on home screen .When opened it shows the relevant folders but on opening shows nothing (I havent got a clue why) Any help much appreciated
And finally THANKYOU for one of the best skins I have ever used ,the fluidity and eye-candy is second to none and have found no other skin that can compare to this skin , absolutely outstanding work.
1) home menu customizer --> click on any item --> set bg --> general bg settings
2) xbmc limitation, i´d love to be able to "fix" that, but not possible.
3) probably has nothing to do with the skin. is that file extension recognized by xbmc?
...and the remote problem will still happen occasionally for you if you didn´t make any code changes. will be fixed for next bugfix release.
If cbr files cant be used doesnt it make the comic section er difficult to use (I can open the files in file manager though cbr files being standard comic book file type?)
It did work in previous version ,any aeon nox/comic readers willing to input theories

Since the forced update to 3.0 all the thumbs for my series have been replaced with banners resulting in a stretched and ugly look everywhere. Thumbs are like the shape of a dvd case. Banners are horizontal. Replacing them all back again is a painful process. I'm curious to know...

Why when i try and change them back again do I see banners AND thumbs when browsing now?

No thumbs were replaced. You probably want to check 'use poster.jpg' in the media menu.
I have enable folder.jpg for album cover enabled, but all my movies have switched to backdrop.jpg after the update. Is there a way to switch to everyone without having to go to each movie individually?
When i do that then all the thumbs disappear and are replaced by the default - no image picture.
Tried restarting XBMC after changing to poster view and now the posters show.

no, we cannot define what key triggers which event. this is done by the keymaps.
you could remove the first line from the two i posted but this will start viewtype selection OR quicknav depending on what you used last.

We dont use any external art for movie thumbs, so I'm not sure what the question is.

Easiest would be to go to pictures add your comics there as source. Add it as favorite and set that as default action for opening comics. Afterwards you can remove the favourite and source in pictures.

i left it on for around 5 minutes when this poped up....
i dunno if u remember, but i got that same pop up somewhere else (can't exactly remember where Confused), but it seems to be related to the Metadata actors script. i temporarily removed the script and i was able to press escape to bypass the loading screen. maybe u can see why its happening to begin with.
For me, every time i startup XBMC with the Aeon Nox 3.0 skin i get this search box, the only way to close it so i can get XBMC to load up to the home screen is by pressing Esc a couple of time.
Is there any work around to this?
