gerosil Wrote:hi,

I use the following (supported) structure:

X:\Movies\

and within this directory one directory per movie. ("Every movie in its own folder with grouping folders").

I have configures the settings as in the link above.

Still, no nfo-files are written, when I scrape multiple movies. The scrapes work well and the green check marks in the nfo-column are listed, but the nfo-files are not written in the movie-directories.

when I scrape one movie, the nfo-file is written in the movies directory.

I use <movie>.nfo as format and use a self-defined scraper (but as already mentioned, the scraper works).

how can I force nfo-files to be written? or force a log to write, that can narrow down the error?

I have exactly the same problem.
It's strange, with this last update i don't have any *.nfo files.
I didn't change any configurations. And before update everything was working.
Even with single scraper don't work.

The i have deleted the folder of ember media manager and install again.
And now it creates a *.tbn file in each movie folder.
What is this file?

Another user here with the same issue Oo

No matter how I scrape, movie is found, looks OK, but no .nfo file is written. i'm using a folder format that has compatible, and before the update (this afternoon) everything worked fine.

same here.

worked fine until latest update.
Even reinstalled EMM.

Same problem here. I was unable to edit anything and have the changes take, and didn't realize it was related to the lack of .nfo files. Sure enough, none of the folders from my latest update & scrape include .nfo's.
No problem adding posters and fan art though.

Also, the Manual Edit button on all of these is grayed out.
Also also, if I attempt to edit movies that already have .nfo files, none of the changes stick. However, if I manual edit these via their Manual Edit button, those changes do stick.
Same problem here, no .nfo files written at all.
...and there is a .nfo fix already. Amazing. Laugh
I saw it the minute after I posted my reply.

Gonna try it out now

Maintenance release.

FIX: Issue saving NFO files introduced in 2282 (Sorry about that)

NEW: Beta (Experimental) NMT Jukebox Builder Module (In Addons Downloads)

NOTE: YAMJ Users
All YAMJ Setting are now in a specific Module "YAMJ compatibility". (Edit -> Settings -> Modules)
New options: TV Image Naming

NOTE: To log in to new Addons Manager, use the same username and password from your embermm.com account.
Wow, that fix was fast. You guys rock!

I have a usage question. I'm trying to use the frame extraction feature. At the Frame Extraction tab I click on Load Movie. The "picture" portion of the window just shows gray. I try Auto-gen 10. I then go to the extrathumbs tab and click on transfer now. Maybe out of ten I get a couple that come across with a screen shot. The rest are gray, with a total of 7.

My file is a m2ts BR file.

Am I doing something wrong? Should the 10 I set to create be evenly spaced throughout the movie? Shouldn't I get 10? Is there a reason I'm only getting 2 instead of 10?

Thanks Nuno... it couldn't have been more obvious (to anyone but me apparently) Smile

Thanks as always for your patience and help.
I must be overseeing something very easy. Since updating to Rev2286, I cannot scrape movies anymore. EMM finds the movie, but after confirming, nothing gets scraped. Any thoughts?

Remove all modules from Modules Folder.. run -recover
if ok re-downlaod modules needed
Also check if you are running native scraper.
