Have you ever come across issue where you click on Add-ons section inside Kodi and get black screen without any options to choose? Missing list of My addons, Recently updated Addons etc etc
and as you can see its working normally when switched to other skin
No. This is the first time I've heard from you about this problem. Try reinstalling the skin. I don't know what the problem might be.
Seems to be happening only on Bingie skin, dont know why.
There is some strange input inside Kodi log file ...

By the log I would say it's up to the kodi. But I really don't know what could be.
Hi,
is it possible to add the imdb rating to netflix series / films?
Currently the rating is only displayed for my private collections. Do I have to set something else for Netflix?
Failed : script.bingie.helper

i'm not familiar with the settings in kodi. When you have time could you please let me know which settings I need to turn on. I’ve had a look and can’t see anything. Thanks.
The jellyfin addon actually writes directly into the kodi database as if the movies folders were added to kodi themselves. Jellyfin just makes sure that my library is synced across all kodi devices and the jellyfin webinterface. It's still only network mounted drives with the media on it.
Therefor Jellyfin also does only refresh when changes in the database have been made. It uses some sort of last changed algorithm for that so it only applies changes if needed. Therefor the jellyfin addon definitely isn't the issue, however I will try and see if the advanced settings change anything! Thank you for the tip!
EDIT:
I also went through the general settings and disabled the youtube trailer stuff. This definitely seems to have improved performance. The widgets still take like a bit to load, like 10 seconds but not a whole minute anymore.
Althoug the similar media widgets still take a long time to load.
as long as you use playlist they load instantly

1. The similar widget is relying on skin helper widgets so it's going to take longer.. You can always change that widget to a playlist....
2. Jellyfin is acting as stream so it's going to take longer to load... Your media isn't local even if it's acting local by how jellyfin treats it. It's still pulling information using the internet.
3. The skin was first built for PC so that would be the ideal system for speed. Your Android Box will be slower not sure if that can be helped.
4. You can try and disable every view you don't use inside the skin media views setting.

matke or anyone else that know the answer and fix. I have used advanced settings in the past to increase cache and buffersize with no ill effects on the skin however recently within the past few months it has created a problem with loading of the widgets they can take up to a minute to load. They used to be automatic no load time at all on my Nvidia shield loading the widgets from my virtual addon integrated Library and the widgets are still automatic when I remove the advanced settings. Im still using kodi 18.9 for the time being so I figured all work on it was done but something must have been changed to cause the problem? This is the advanced settings I'm using to help out streams that have inconsistent rates.
<advancedsettings>
<splash>no</splash>
<cache>
<buffermode>1</buffermode>
<memorysize>139460608</memorysize>
<readfactor>20</readfactor>
</cache>
</advancedsettings>
the no splash is just to open kodi up directly to Bingie and it has no effect on the widgets when used as the only setting in the advancedsettings XML document so it has to be something with the cache settings any ideas on how to fix the problem? I would like to be able to use the cache settings without the horrible load times.

Skin for kodi leia has not been updated for almost 6 months. Since when do you have this problem? Maybe it's not up to the skin but some addon.

Honestly the addon I was using kind of died about 6 months ago so haven't really been using kodi or the skin much since then there is a fork of that addon that is working great so I rebuilt my library with it. Im curious if the issue has something to do with the splash animation? I dont have a physical library to test with so I was hoping someone could test the advanced setting with their library to see if they have the same problem if not I guess I will just accept the fact I cant use the settings.
Love the skin! However, I have an issue where in my pop-up windows some of the text is just... Missing? For example, authorising Trakt - the URL and Code to use are blank. Theres no text at all. The only way to fix this is to use a default Kodi skin to do this authorisation.
Anyone know of a fix? I've messed around with some of the custom colour settings but couldn't figure it out!
Thank you
