Can anyone enlighten me as to what xml I would have to edit in order to disable the ability to click on an item (movie/tv poster) within the cast view in TMDB helper?Β I would like to still be able to click on cast members from info and see what roles that have, but wish to disable the ability to click on the posters themselves (which results in either an UnPNP player prompt or a left options browse sidebar)... Image of rendered xml in question below...

1. Trailers do not show when played through Bingie Info View while using the Search hub. You can only hear the audio. If you press the Full Screen button during this the trailer will play fine.
2. When having Full Screen trailers selected in settings and then playing the trailers via Bingie Info View the trailer plays fine but pressing the back button once during the trailer does not take you to the previous screen as expected but instead acts like pressing the full screen button in Bingie Info View.
Thanks for your help and this skin is definitely going to be my new daily driver for a long time! Appreciate all the work you guys have put into all the little details of this beautiful skin! Have a great day! π
1. Yes, this is a very strange bug. And what's interesting is that it doesn't happen on Windows, but I noticed it on the Android box. Only the first time the trailer is played there is a black image, every subsequent time it works normally until you leave the search hub. This is something at the level of Android rendering. When I turn off hardware acceleration in Kodi on Android, everything works normally. If anyone has an idea what it could be, please let me know.
2. This is not a bug. It is impossible to return from the trailer to the video info dialog because the moment you click the back button for the first time, you actually closed the video info dialog. If you play the trailer to the end without clicking the back button, you will return to the video info dialog.

I'm working on this, to enable the option to open the info dialog by clicking on the movie.
For anyone having problems with ratings, you should insert the omdb api key into metadatautils and tmdb helper. You also need to enable the option to display footer in the skin settings.

1. Sorry I forgot to say I am using a Shield TV Pro (2019). Interesting that it does not happen on Windows. Hope it can get fixed for Android TV at some point π
2. I think you misunderstood the part with pressing the back button during full screen trailer in Bingie Info View. I expect the trailer to stop when pressing the back button while the trailer is playing inside the Bingie Info View and also get me back to the previous menu.
Right now it continues to activate a true full screen mode outside of Bingie Info View when pressing the back button once and then I have to press back a second time to actually stop the trailer playing if I did not watch it to the end inside the Bingie Info View.
Hope I explained it more clearly now. Thanks again for your great work on this skin and for your help π

2. I already answered you, but apparently you don't understand some things again. The trailer is played as a background in the video info dialog, and the moment you click the back button the first time, it closes the video info dialog and puts the trailer in full screen, and the second time you click the back button, it stops it. I hope it's clearer to you now. And there is no need to change your nickname.

Haha thanks man! I am a big Legacy Of Kain fan! Hope they release a new game in the series soon! Are you also a fan? Or did you mean to insinuate that I am that other guy who had issues with Bingie Seasons view and Up Next since you said I misunderstood some things
again? π€ Because then you are very wrong cause I am very happy to say that I have absolutely no issues there. Itβs beautiful and works great for me! π
I understand perfectly well how it works right now, but I just wondered if maybe this behavior could be changed to stop the trailer from playing in the background + go back to previous screen when pressing back just once to make it more like how Netflix does it? It only bugs me because I have Kodi set to adjust TV refresh rate on start and stop and I get a black screen when pressing back once because it has to enter true full screen mode and change refresh rate and then again when exiting true full screen to change refresh rate again π€£ I just donβt remember this behavior being in the previous version, but maybe I just didnβt have that Kodi setting on back then π€ But I do like to have smooth 60hz menus and correctly matched refresh rate when watching content π
This skin is so fun to play around with! Thanks again ππ

I'm working on this, to enable the option to open the info dialog by clicking on the movie.
That would be fantastic!Β But seeing as how both you and AchillesPunks are busy individuals, can you offer any help in me disabling the prompts in the interim?
Much appreciated.
On the homescreen is this text (highlighted) meant to collapse and only show the Clear Logo after a while or not? I know it did on the previous version. Just wondered if there was a setting i was missing?

There is currently no such option, but I already wrote that I might return it with the next update. Currently it works like in Netflix, when you play the trailer the plot is hidden.
Sorry for a possibly rude question. Is there anywhere I can get support for skin compatibility with a banned add-on?
It's only a minor issue with text overlapping, tried fixing it for myself but couldn't find the right file.

Thanks for the reply! Great work on the latest update!
Hi,
Thanks for this great skin. The latest updates are great and I'm enjoying playing around with everything.
One issue, which might be something wrong that I've done, is that none of my MKV files seem to play in the new skin. I have an attached HDD with MKV, MP4 and AVI files. Each time I try and play a MKV file I get a spinning wheel and then the whole system shuts down. No problems playing MP4 or AVI FILES. I have wiped my android box twice and reinstalled the skin and rebuilt the library but still have the same issue. My MKV files all played fine in the previous build of the skin that I was running last week.
Thanks for any help.
