Why don't you scan these items into the skin. Kind of defeats the purpose of the skin

@AchillesPunks Love the update but I noticed in the home screen in spotlight there was a feature that will hide the plot of the movie after a few seconds and just show the logo name of the movie and it was on the home settings has that feature been removed or moved somewhere else in settings?

That option only hide the plot. Now the plot is hidden when the trailer starts. Netflix does the same. In the next update, I will add an option so that anyone who wants it can hide plot after some time in idle mode.

Unfortunately, i just restarted Kodi and the problem has started again . Unable to play unscanned content. Something in the skin or one of its dependencies is causing the issue. I can open files with other skins just not this one.

It seems to work again when i uninstall and reinstall the skin.

...but now the skin looks a mess - white borders dont line up with widgets, widgets not evenly spaced out etc

Isnt inputstream adaptive used for streaming content? I have the issue when I try to open files from an external (local) HD.

Turn on log debug in Kodi. Try to open a movie from hdd and then upload the log and let's see.

Thanks. Just did a clean install of Kodi again. Everything is working as normal. Just using bare bone setup at the moment. Im using just minimum addons - Universal Movie Scraper, Metadata Editor etc. DailyMotion addon (just for test purposes). Ive turned on log debug. Going to try a process of elimination. I wonder if its a subtitle addon that is causing the problem? it was the last addon that i installed before the issue happened (a4ksubtitles from a zip file). Just about to scan media items to Kodi library. Sorry to be a pain in the ass.

Is there any way to force The MovieDB Helper to behave how ExtendedInfo did (browsing non-locally stored movies for info and cast)?  Right now, if I click on a title from Cast in Movies/Cast in TV Shows, it prompts me to play via uPnP, whereas I'd prefer to retrieve movie info (plot cast etc). Configuring The MovieDB Helper action to browse vs play does allow some browsing, but only basic and not at all stylized like either the main view or even the old ExtendedInfo view.

I realize I can force ExtededInfo from Skin options, but there's always an underlying MovieDB Helper that I have to back out of for each selection made, making navigation a bit clunky.

Same problem as me ! But no answer yet. I've posted yesterday about that, but I must admit a video is quite better to understand the problem !
In fact, the buttons are useable, but the focus border doesn't show. I have to count from the first button to click on the right one.
I've got the problem on 3 machines now, even from scratch as always told as a solution (and no, it's not the solution : everytime you'd like to update your GPS navigation in your car, you would be angry if the seller tells you to destroy your car and rebuid it from scratch...) A migration must be a real migration and should work without reinstalling everything. A working Kodi is not out of the box  : you must install and configurer a lots of plugins, and for example on Vero or raspberry with some light distros, it can be hard, the OS are so light that you have to patch and add packages, and install specific scripts to install netflix, hyperion etc... no way to reinstall from scratch easily.

We'll it's true the skin would work best with a PC like good laptop or desktop... It was first made for them PC. Trying to figure out each system is difficult. I have it on three systems no. 2 desktops and 1 laptop, and all is well.

The skin is working well and is fluent enough on a "small" machine, I've never said Titan Bingie was bad or slow, despite there are other skins to do the job. I like Titan very much, and I'd like my machine as perfect as possible : my Vero is a real full replacement for all machines in a living-room (TV, VOD, ripped movies on a big NAS, music, ripped TV shows). I'm glad to Thank U very much for your job.
But the "no-border buttons" are really annoying : the problem did not exist with previous 2.0.x releases, and I will certainly have to downgrade the skin if no solution is found. If you could investigate more, it would be great. But on my Windows PC, which is very powerful, I've got the same problem of buttons... it's a pity... I can't find where the problem is. However, I've made my own modifications with success : for example, some views like View 526, 525 etc miss date/weather/time on upper corner, even with the correct box checked. I've already modified that with the previous releases. I've modified a bit the Home page, cause I like having the movie description, even with the netflix percentage bar. I've modified my Music view in order to have the logos, and on the homepage too with the albums widget. I'm able to modify a lots of things in order to meet my requirements, without asking anybody... if I've posted yesterday a message, the reason is that I've found no solution, even after decompacting the textures.cbt, looking everywhere I'm supposed to... no way to show that damned borders !

You have to understand that it is difficult to fix something if it is about individual cases. How can I fix something when it works without problems on three different systems for me? Of course I'll take a look at the code when I have time. I'm in a rush right now.

Unfortunately, I've already done both actions, without any success. I suspect a problem of focus but why ? no idea. Now I'm not alone any more with this problem, another user posted a video ! And I wouldn't be surprise by other claims. See U next time ?

I've found a clue.
In userdata/addon_data/skin.titan.bingie.mod/settings.xml, 2 lines are incorrect. They should be with new capitalized variables like this :
<setting id="ViewDetailsListItemTextFocusColor" type="string">ffffffff</setting>
<setting id="ViewDetailsListItemTextColor" type="string">ffffffff</setting>
In my files, there are only lowercase letters in the var names. The problem is, on the Vero (or other distro like LibreElec OSMC etc), I can't stop Kodi in order to modify settings.xml : Kodi is always loaded, and settings.xml is rewritten in its last state (perhaps due to a cache somewhere). Under Windows, that solves the problem, Kodi restarts with new parameter.
I found that in addons\skin.titan.bingie.mod\extras\skinthemes, Reset.theme has lowercase vars. Is this important ? I suppose, yes it is. While resetting theme, these values are set.
