Have you scanned your media to Kodi yet?

You Kodi profile needs to be setup to receive private messages.

Hey, this is my first time replying to this forum so I want to start of by thanking you for this amazing skin!

Lately I seem to have a problem with the "Play from beginning" button in the info menu. When I press it, it instantly gives the error pop-up "Playback failed". The "Resume" button plays the media but doesn't actually resume from where i left off.

I use Kodi Matrix v19.5 and use the widgets from 'Skin Helper Widgets'. For the media sources I use the Library Integration feature form 'TMDB Helper' and then add them to the media library in 'Kodi media settings' using information provider 'The Movie Database Python" for Movies and 'TMDb TV Shows' for TV shows.

I checked the Log file but it doesn't mention much.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Yes i did and movies showed up but for continue watching i could not find default widget in skin helper addons

There is no media that has starting and not completed. So there will be nothing in continue watching. Until you play media and don't finish it it will remain empty.

It works fine on 19 or 20. It looks like skin is set to default, meaning the spotlight and widgets are trying to pull information from your kodi libary and that it has nothing in the libary, hence nothing loads.
(That is why he's asking if you have added the media to your libary yet)

If you are not using library content then you need to go into skin settings and point the spotlight and widgets to a location (like addon) so it can load stuff.

B.t.w, this skin works best and is made more for local content. But can be used with addons.

Sounds like a resume point conflict between the skin,tmdb helper and whatever addon is been used to play it.

Are you sure you have it set to save and load the resume points from the same location?

Also a log would help to pin point it faster.

I'm not too sure from where it gets the resume points... I think this is built inside the skin or from skin helper widgets. I do sync my resume points to Trakt but in trakt i have "Sync movie/episode playback progress to Kodi" disabled.

But i don't think it's a problem of the resume points because it should just play the media from the start instead of giving me an instant error.

Mhhh.. I'm starting to feel like it's because I'm using Kodi in portable mode from inside my OneDrive folder... And this is somehow giving Python errors.

Do you have any experience with loading portable Kodi from a Drive folder? (Btw I do have all the files mirrored on my computer, they just sync to the cloud.)
