What is the skin version number you have installed? Have you tried deleting all silvo skin folders? Check for Aeon-Nox-SiLVO-master or -mrv_widgets or skin.aeon.nox.silvo and completely remove all traces of the skin and then try installing after restarting kodi. If none of this works I can only conclude that it is something specific to your setup and do not know how else to help you...
This is the version that I have
5.7.1-2.0.3.
I'm going to do the reinstall, but one question: what will happen to my settings, shortcuts, etc?

Git version is 5.7.1-2.0.4
Where are you getting the zip file from? Nothing should happen to your settings or shortcuts since all that info is saved elsewhere.

Where's the link to that?
You usually update the first post.

I can't help feeling a little frustrated here
I did specifically say it was on Git and I also asked if you updated to the Git version. Do you know what I mean when I say Git?

Sorry, that was my fault. I downloaded it from your
github url.

How I go about doing that?
If you are under linux, i can explain but i don't know how doing this under windows.
So the first thing is to remove old SILVO directory :
Code:
cd ~/.kodi/addons/
rm -r skin.aeon.nox.silvo/ # you can just rename it if you don't want to remove old files
then download the last git version :
Code:
git clone https://github.com/mikesilvo164/Aeon-Nox-SiLVO.git skin.aeon.nox.silvo
and finally to update to the last version :
Code:
cd skin.aeon.nox.silvo/
git pull

I also hope that my last post will not keep you from coming back and posting if you have any more problems, suggestions, questions, or concerns. It was not meant to be mean in any way.

I'm using windows, but I'm familiar with the command line, so I will attempt this.
Thanks.

No you misunderstood me. I made a mistake when I mentioned your first post. I had indeed downloaded the skin from it's github link. That said skin I had tried to use to update the current one, but it didn't work.
I will however, do as you suggested and reinstall the skin to see if that resolve it.
No need to worry about me coming back; I will be back regardless. Plus, I too would've been frustrated if I were helping someone who in return gives me misleading responses.

You can try checking the debug log for install errors or you can post a link to your log here.
Okay I got it to work now.
I followed what Levi59 posted above. From now one, that's how I'll update this skin.
Thanks for the assist gents

Warner306 posted a tutorial for keeping in sync. You may want to have a look

His how to's seem very detailed.

I added the InfoPanel to BannerPlex. If anybody wants to test it out it is on Git. If you notice any bugs please let me know.
Oh really? The little picture I say made me think it affected the epg. That would be a nice feature to gave color logos in the epg.

I can't really work on the live TV stuff cause my tuner card went belly up on me and it is hard to add stuff if you can't check how it functions or looks when in use. When I can replace it I can focus further on that but I have no idea when that might be
I wish I could beg Maniac for his updated version but I will not ask him to do all that work to incorporate it for my skin mod. He works on his own version of Aeon Nox 5 with a much improved Live TV section, If you don't need or want any of the stuff I added I recommend his as it is the best option for Live TV. It might be exactly what you are looking for.
Aeon Nox 5: Maniac
Maybe you can ask him to get permission and let you integrate just his TV-section in your Mod

I can't add it if I cannot test it. I would have to look the code over and modify certain things for my skin and inevitably there will be complications that I cannot fix or even notice because I can't test or see them.
