Sorry I found the problem. I have a Textures.xbt file so it was reading the images from that and not the updated locations for the cases. Will push a fix for testing shortly.

No worries, Fixed and Thank you! Smile
(2016-05-05, 17:17)BobCratchett Wrote: [ -> ]With Skin Shortcuts about to be updated on the repo, I can finally start adding new features and breaking it again. One of the first I'm adding has been requested in this thread more than anywhere else, so I'm hoping there are people willing to help test the ability to disable a menu item rather than just deleting it.

To test requires Krypton (though Mike may choose to enable to function on earlier versions later if he chooses) and this branch of Skin Shortcuts.

To install the branch of skin shortcuts, download zip from the link above, and replace the contents of addons/script.skinshortcuts/ with the contents of the zip file. You can find the addons folder one folder 'up' from the userdata (wiki) folder.

To disable (or re-enable) a menu item, highlight it in the list on the left and bring up the context menu.

Please note, Skin Shortcuts will try to enable this function in all skins via the context menu (on Krypton or higher) to try to avoid a situation where a menu item has been disabled in one skin but can't be re-enabled in another, but the skinner will of course have full control over how the function is implemented in their particular skin. Therefore, rather than comments on how its integrated into the skin - which is simply the way Skin Shortcuts tries to make it accessible in all skins that haven't implemented anything specific - I'm interested in whether the function works as expected and whether the context menu (which is also new) similarly works. (Though Mike may be interested in ideas of how the functionality should be exposed in Silvo Wink)

Thanks for your time Smile
Hi Bob!
I tested and it works great for me. Just wondering about feedback other than the radiobutton (313) that I just added so users can quickly know which is disabled... Any suggestions Sir Bob?
Thanks for testing Smile

Yes, I know that's an issue. I did try to adjust the label of the shortcut (give it light font-weight or similar) script side, but that breaks the change label action. Any good suggestions for anything that can be done script-side are most welcome.

Skin side, I still think adjusting the label of the shortcut in 211 is a good idea - for my own skin I'm going with prepending a dark red dot controlled by a $VAR. (Most of the original requesters, I suspect, will have been used to the function from the original Nox 5, where all it has is the radiobutton, though...)
@mike

Think I might have found another bug, with extended info script, if you select "force native appearance" it just shows the standard Aeon Nox View.
@Mr. V how i can getting the movie Info working in the widgets like show from the 2 latest screenshots you have postet thx

Great work Mr. V and Mike Smile

That's a good idea. Mind if I steal it? Smile I tried coloring the whole label and it looked like crap.

I can replicate but it is hard to know if it is a skin, Kodi, or extendedinfo issue. Both are in active development at the moment so anything could break at anytime so not sure what, if anything, has changed that may require some skin updates. Might want to mention it to phil in the extendedinfo thread but try installing the latest version from its GitHub page including it's dependency script.module.kodi65 first as I myself am currently a little behind on updating.

I'm a great believer that theft is the sincerest form of flattery Wink

Edit:- If you've added the relevant button, you can disable the context menu if you want (or look at moving other controls to it Wink) - whilst the context menu function needs testing, I doubt people will bother enabling/disabling via it now there's a button. I should say, though, 313 is part of v1.0.9 - v1.0.8 isn't even on the repo yet, so it will be a good while before this version is!

To disable the context menu, it should (if my code actually works) be as simple as adding

Code:
<contextmenu />

to your overrides.

I'll have to do some research and figure that out. Will get back to you when I find it Smile

Mike, I already requested and got approval to translate into Spanish in Transifex. Just finished the Spanish translation for Spanish (Spain).

I am new to Kodi and trying to make my own perfect build. I am using Silvo but have no option to use these widgets on my skin. They just don't have the detailed info like these widgets on movies and the option to play trailer, which I love. How do I get these widgets for my build? I am still fairly new to this, so this may be a silly question, but I just would like to use the Silvo skin with the widgets you have shown. Already put in many hours trying to make this build and didn't want to start over with new skin just for these widgets. Thanks for any help you can give to us newbies. Huh

If you want to use the widgets you will have to install the latest from the Jarvis branch on GitHub and set up you mainmenu again. Unfortunately there is no other option to get them working.

Great work Mr. V and Mike Smile

The 'i' button on your keyboard or info button on your remote. If you are running Jarvis that is.

On krypton things are a little different. Mike did tell me there is an issue with using that info dialog. Something I will need to look into.
I can confirm info dialog not working on krypton for my weather widget
When I setup widgets asking to show anything from rotten tomatoes (Box office, Top Rentals etc),also too 250 I get an empty widget. Do I have to install some add-on?

This has been an ongoing issue, sometimes it works and sometime not. There is nothing I can do about it as it is an extended info problem.

You could try to update extended info to see if it works other wise you will have to wait for Phil to fix the script.
It appears to work correct with extendedinfo but not with openeleq's mod version.

thanks found it on my keyboard it was ok on my remote i have remapped the button now its ok that was the problem Big GrinBig GrinTongue
First post and repo has been updated with the latest Jarvis and Isengard skin version. Isengard will no longer receive any new features, only bugfixes. The repo update is prep for adding Krypton support. The skin will not be added for Krypton until it is closer to a beta release.
