I have to second Tomahawk's praise. It's been a really enjoyable experience using this skin, and thanks from here as well for taking the time to work on it.
One point I just noticed--I was just playing an episode of an anime TV show and paused it. When I did so, the TV show's logo came on at the bottom-middle of the OSD...smack dab where the subtitles were. So the subtitles and logo basically obscured each other
Would you consider moving the logo to a corner of the screen (preferably upper right or upper left) in a paused OSD, so that subtitles have a chance to maintain separation from the logo?

The design of the plot and cast on info during playback prevents me from doing that but if you disable the plot and cast info the logo moves back to its original position on the bottom right hand side, will that suffice?
Yep, bottom right would be fine....anything out of the middle will work
Incidentally, I don't see plot/cast info when I pause, yet the logo is still in the middle. Is it possible to place the logo in two different places...one for if the plot/cast info is visible, and one if the plot/cast info isn't visible? Or is that too much overthinking on my part/too difficult?
Or am I just not aware of how the whole shebang is supposed to work? That's more likely...lol

Plot and cast is not on pause since clicking info ("I" key) while paused will show that. If it is still in the middle then the plot and cast setting is still activated in Skin settings > Extras
I see a few posts back that Mike mentioned some issues with the Scrollbar in certain views, but I didn't see the Shift view listed.
Does the Scrollbar go a little weird for anyone else in the Shift view? Sometimes I can't access it, other times the scrolling is erratic.

I also had some weird scrollbar issues so I changed a lot of scrollbar id's and that fixed the issue for me can you try the latest test skin or install from Git to see if that fixes it? If you don't mind installing either version can you please let me now if it solves that issue so I can be sure I've solved the problem for the next release. If you don't want to deal with all that it is not a problem since I am reasonably confident I have fixed it.
Thanks.
Hey Mike.
I'm using 5.5.8-1.5, which is the latest version, no?
I tested out a few horizontal views (Logo, Showcase, Shift) and the scrollbar goes a little wonky. The size of the scrollbar is inconsistent (sometimes the grey scrollbar is really big, sometimes it's small) and sometimes after one scroll it exits scrollbar mode and goes back to regular scrolling.

That is the latest release and not from Git or the test version. The version number for the test skin and Git is 5.5.8-1.6
Yup, I just did a VERY quick test on the Git version 5.5.8-1.6 -- but the scrolling, at least in Shift and Logo view, seems to be working normally.
Thanks Mike
Is there an ETA for the next official release of your mod?

Great! Thanks for testing. Just to let you know... the Aeon-Nox-SiLVO-master folder should be deleted after I post the next update and before installing the next release. If you want to avoid any issues after I post the update to the repo and first post. If you plan on using and updating the Git version then it should not matter.

I give myself a hard date of every Tuesday (evening) for bug fixes and new features if they are ready by then. It keeps me motivated to get it done quickly.
You rock, Mike. I'm looking forward to all future releases.
I feel like I should mention that none of this would be possible without the incredibly designed skin that BigNoid has created. Without his skin and the efforts of bryanbrazil modifying it I most likely would not have been able to learn what I have so far. I started this thread as a personal mod that fit my own tastes but through the contributions of Steveb, neurosis13, mikebzh44, Vaikin, Maniac, Edworld, uncertainty, Canadave, Warner306, Mario S., devilshura, RealJustMe, Bernard_Defacqz, dannyau, Warez, Tomahawk, and of course bryanbrazil, phil65, and BigNoid it has grown into something that I am quite proud of
If I have forgotten your name I apologize as it is very time consuming to look through 34 pages! While I appreciate all the kind words and rep added, if you can spare a moment to give these fine folks a rep point or a kind word of thanks especially bryanbrazil, phil65, and BigNoid I would be grateful. Just to give a little bit of info I started using a dropbox service for download counts (no personal info is recorded only unidentifiable download and view counts as I take privacy very seriously) and according to those numbers my repo and/or skin has been downloaded/installed on over 600 devices! That is more than I ever imagined and am overwhelmed by that figure. I once thought that 100 devices/people using my mod would be a miracle. I would just like to thank all of you for your continued support, suggestions, and bug reports. So keep em coming
We thank you for your time and great work !
you've done a great skin much better 600 downloads are great
mike what you think of it to assign default backrounds not only the black one !!!
The idea behind it is that it is not so easy for new user to assign someone specially the default_bg !
(if you want I can send you some backgrounds)
