Is that image your fallback? The one you chose in the same area as the cycle fanart button under fallback. Looks to be like your library item fanart is missing… Try using the choose artwork button in the information dialog to see what image you have set as fanart for those items.

No, I don't have a fallback set. If I go to TV show information or movie information and change art, the fanart shows up, it's the one I set originally and I click on it again, blackout to just see my background, no fanart. Every movie and TV show I try this on does the same.

Wondering if someone could point me in the right direction please. I have 2 questions

1. I cannot seem to get Artist slideshow working? I am using the same settings used in Aeon Nox and all is working fine. Do I need to install any other add-ons to make this work? do I need to change anything elsewhere? all I get is a blank screen?

2. Is there a simple way of creating a custom widget from a super favourite if so can someone point me in the right direction please?

1) Did you activate the setting in this skin also? Activating it in OG Nox 5 does not affect this skin. I have looked into all issues regarding Artist Slideshow and everything appears to work as the script intends. The default setting for Artist Slideshow is to display a black background when it finds no art. Check the settings in the script, Slideshow > Use transparent background, if you want it to show the library fanart behind any artist without provided artwork from the Artist Slideshow script that has fanart associated with it.

2) You do not need super fav to create a custom widget, just choose custom for select widget in the widget customizer and finish the settings then back out of the widget customizer and select the newly appeared configure widget (x) option below whichever widget you chose (1 or 2) to choose the custom items.

Jarvis:

I am in the help section \ check status of scripts, all the required addons are installed. When I go to the recommended addons, if I click on the not installed addons it doesnt trigger the install.

Is this normal?

Need some testers to try out latest Krypton branch, made some changes to mediaflags and I think I got them all updated but could use some more sets of eyes Wink

What skin and Kodi version? Does the fanart appear in Confluence (or Estuary if on Krypton)? I cannot replicate this issue and it could be cache related so might want to look into the Texture Cache Maintenance utility (wiki).

My original Skin was Aeon Nox, now the Aeon Nox Silvo Mod. I'm on kodi 15.2 (I believe the latest openelec available) I fixed the issue for a second time now by deleting both the Textures13.db and Thumbnails folder, a reboot and everything is where it's suppose to be, ie fanart displaying correctly, not cycling through randomly. This though will be the second time I've had to do this, and presumably not the last. This skin is fantastic for sure but if the issue remains I'll just go back to the original Aeon nox, haven't had a issue in over a year.

I use this skin since some time now. It's fantastic, but... Is it somehow possible to change the timeline to the original aoen nox design or to make the colourful design transparent?

I don't like the untransparent colourful design. It doesn't fit to the skin design at all.

Next question: Is it possible to limit the shown undertitle lines to one line or to make a little space between title and the two line undertitle entries in tv recordings?

For one undertitle lines it looks perfect, but if there are two undertitle lines it is hard to read.

Next Question: Is it possible to make a little bit more space between title and description in the timeline?

Last Question: Is it somehow possible to choose the wheater location per submenu?

What do you think about this?

Updated to the latest krypton version today, and missing the language flags in the subtitle selection screen. (can't see the language of the subtitle)

So now back to the version of yesterday, must be something in your latest update.

Let me see if I get this straight...
You are using an old version of OpenElec Isengard instead of LibreElec Jarvis.
You are using an old skin version that hasn't been updated in 5 months.
You decided to delete your Textures13.db file and your thumbnails folder.

How is any of the above my fault? If you want to go back to Aeon Nox 5 nobody's stopping you but the code used to display the backgrounds in both skins are identical Wink

It might not fit the original skin design but my mod adds color in a few places and also it is handy for those that want to see color coded genres Wink

I added options to hide genre colors for EPG timeline and moved the plot down away from the time and genre.

Though the update to Extended info script mod has made it so if I click Show TV Show Info I get an error, in my movies collection I have it set to show info instead of just playing so that leads to an error as well, "Extended info mod error, check the log for details". I know I know, you want a log right? not worth the effort. I know I should jump off the bridge with everyone else and update as soon as something comes out, like Jarvis, but everything on my system works perfect, I have no complaints, and if the backgrounds and now the extended info mod script hadn't given an error you wouldn't have ever heard from me. So again, not to insult you, or the skin you modded, there's nothing for you to get straight. Thanks for your help and lining things up for me. (Just so I got that straight)
