Thanks for your answer mikeSiLVO
but the Music fanarts are very dark/dim when playing music. That is not the case for movie/tv-series views or any other for that matter, only when playing music the fanarts dimout very much and are hard to see.
Is it just me? Smile

I want to reduce the speed of the animated background. Is it possible to have something in theme settings to change this? Or maybe I need to change manually the theme?
Maybe a setting like "slow" "Normal" "high" can be good.
No setting, you can adjust how you see fit in Includes_Animations.xml. Search for the AnimatedBackgroundAnimation include.
Thanks, it's exactly that I want. Just added this time settings and it's perfect
xml:
<include name="AnimatedBackgroundAnimation">
<animation effect="zoom" start="110" end="130" center="auto" time="8000" pulse="true" condition="Skin.HasSetting(Enable.AnimatedBackgrounds)">Conditional</animation>
<animation effect="slide" start="-15,-15" end="15,15" time="9000" pulse="true" condition="Skin.HasSetting(Enable.AnimatedBackgrounds)">Conditional</animation>
</include>

They are not in the skin because reading by filename is the only way to achieve this ATM and is therefor unreliable so, I will not add this until there is a way for FFMPEG to read and distinguish DDTrueHD from ATMOS and DTS-HDMA from DTS-X. I can tell you how to add it but it will be reset and needed to be re-added on every skin update...
Just wondering, did you PM how to add this? I followed the convo to the end and I don't see the answer anywhere. I have recently moved from Aeon MadNOX to Aeon SiLVO as I had some stability issues using the former. I find silvo much snappier and more responsive, the ATMOS and DTS:X flags are the only thing I miss from madnox.

 Hi Tj , welcome to ANS, I too moved from madnox to ANS for the same reasons .

I was going to post then forgot...
You need to add 2 new VARs
Code:
<variable name="AudioFlagVar">
<value condition="String.Contains(ListItem.Filename,atmos)">atmos</value>
<value condition="String.Contains(ListItem.Filename,dts-x)">dts-x</value>
<value condition="String.Contains(ListItem.Filename,dtsx)">dts-x</value>
<value>$INFO[ListItem.AudioCodec]</value>
</variable>
<variable name="PlayerAudioFlagVar">
<value condition="String.Contains(Player.Filenameandpath,atmos)">atmos</value>
<value condition="String.Contains(Player.Filenameandpath,dts-x)">dtsx</value>
<value condition="String.Contains(Player.Filenameandpath,dtsx)">dtsx</value>
<value>$INFO[VideoPlayer.AudioCodec]</value>
</variable>
Then search and replace all instances of $INFO[ListItem.AudioCodec to $VAR[AudioFlagVar and $INFO[VideoPlayer.AudioCodec to $VAR[PlayerAudioFlagVar.

Then add your flag images to the skins media/flags/colored if using colored flags or default if using default flags folder and name them atmos.png and dtsx.png. After that you need to add either atmos, dts-x, or dtsx to the filename and rescrape if not already in the filename.

Think that should do it...
Thanks for getting back to me, Mike!

I'm about halfway through these instructions but I've hit a snag:

I have some of the find+replace completed in the "MyVideoNav.xml" but I can't find any references to $INFO[VideoPlayer.AudioCodec - do I have the right XML? What XML do I edit with these new VAR, as I have found two Variables.xml? I didn't see any folders for icons in my skin directory:

Kodi\addons\skin.aeon.nox.silvo\media

So I went ahead and created flags>default and flags>colored, and placed versions of the png files in each - I hope this is correct. My filenames should already be good-to-go as it was needed for Aeon Madnox

(2017-11-01, 02:44)Ggabriel87 Wrote: [ -> ]Hi Mike,
first of all thank you for the great skin, is the best of all in my opinion, and secondly I would like to make it clear that I do not want to look like those people who just started using kodi and come to give hints, I have been using Kodi and your skin for years (2 to be precise), once again thank you.
My question is: the logo view is very good and I love it but I would like an option to increase the logos and leave them alone on the screen with the mediaflags and some other information it might have, some time ago I made a change on my own account (which did not work very well  Rofl ) and since then I keep the files stored without being able to update the skin, if I upgrade I will have to make the modification again and last time it took me a long time (2 days of trial and error ) for you it should be suuper simple, could you put this option of visualization in the logos (I already saw mod to leave the logo alone but I did not find any that enlarged their size).
thank you for reading (great text) and if possible, thanks for the new visualization. Big Grin
I'll put some prints below to give you an idea of what I meant, and I do not know if it helps but I'll put the xml that I changed too, maybe you have some use for it.
Thanks Again   Smile

So... Single logo layout with slightly larger logo? Will look into it when I can find the time.
This mod for Aeon 5 is outstanding!! The best for Kodi by far.
I've edited the View_59_Logo.xml file to get the large single logo effect. See changes I've made in bold red below:

<itemlayout width="495" height="450">
            <control type="group">
line 95               <animation effect="fade" start="100" end="0" time="600" condition="System.IdleTime(0) + Skin.HasSetting(Enable.Logo.UnfocusFade)">Conditional</animation>
                <include>LandscapeLogoLayout</include>
            </control>
        </itemlayout>
        <focusedlayout width="495" height="450">
            <control type="group">
line 101                <animation effect="zoom" center="auto" start="100" end="242" time="480" tween="back" reversible="false">Focus</animation>
line 102                <animation effect="zoom" center="auto" start="242" end="100" time="160" tween="back" reversible="false">UnFocus</animation>
                <include>LandscapeLogoLayout</include>
            </control>

The 242 number was the biggest I could set and keep the logo onscreen. You can adjust the size to your liking.
I have only 2 issues with this edit. One, you cannot have the info enabled (Genre, Time etc) for the logo will obscure it, but MediaFlags should be fine. Two, I had to make sure my logos were high quality for the bigger size will show the logos' flaws. The people at Fanart.tv are great logo makers and I am thankful. I have had to become a logo maker myself. No where near as good as the experts, but I am getting better each time I try.

Hope this helps some.
In some View for example "MYFLIX View" the plot in Italian is not displayed. always in English. instead with other skin or other view this problem is not there. because? can you help me?
help me Sad
can anyone help me?
Hi guys, any idea if an HDR flag will be added to the skin in the future? I set a manual tag for my HDR movies, but it would be cool if the HDR flag would indicate which movies are HDR (I have a 2015 Samsung TV and it doesn't notify me when an HDR movie is playing so I have to manually check the TV display settings to ensure that the "backlight" setting adjusted to 100% automatically, pretty annoying after awhile).

 Edit: I just read this post https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=320990 and I see it is actually a Kodi issue rather than a skin issue. Any way to get around this by adding "HDR" to the file name?
Hello, can anybody help me!?
When i install the Skin there is no Movie, Video or Tv Show in the Main Menu, so that i can`t add my Video or Tv Show Library! Sorry for my bad English!! I have installed the latest Silvo Leia Version, from the Silvo`s Download Repo on my Odroid C2. I use a Libreelec community Build from this side for my Odroid C2 (Libreelec Leia18).

Maybe as a change request...

Why showing the path and file name. This is something I really don't need if I am using Kodi - not knowing/needing this is the reason of using Kodi.

Would be great to get rid of them or have the whole VideoInfoScreen optional what should be displayed or not.

Thanks.
 Hello Mike

The FSK Logo is still to big - doesn't fit into the two lines. Maybe you could check...

Thanks.

Yes i know that. But in the Aeon Nox 5 Skin  is no Video option in the Main Menu to add my Video sources. In the default Skin (Estuary) there is no problem to add my Video sources. Or must i switch back to Esturay Skin to add my Video sources, and than, when i have add it, i must switch back to Aeon Nox 5?? In Estuary Skin the menus Video/Tv Shows/Movies are there although i dont added anything!!??
