Hi @

Wondering if you would consider a change in artwork for the Right List view for episodes.
Change the poster, which ends up being the same image for every episode...
to the episode thumb...
(I've sat here for about 40min trying to figure it out and am no closer.
)

Hi Karellen ... try "Episode" view... is basically right list view.

Hi lynxstrike and thanks.
I have seen that view, but I have trouble with the way the episode items in the list jump around to make way for the image in the list. So I'd prefer to keep the image out of the list.
No problems if mike doesn't want to do it, but just thought I would ask.
Hi @
mikeSiLVO
Found out why favorites did not work
When you change the "List Viev Layout" from "Default" to "Slim List" You just get a black favorites window with nothing in it and you have to stop kodi and start new - change back to deafault - everything is working.
Can you please fix that
?

Last time I tried it out, when you select a movie that has multiple versions, a dialogue popped up listing them - "Standard Edition", "Directors Cut", "Extended Cut" etc but now it seems to just list the movie name for every version. Alien 3 example:
I can no longer tell which version is which. The actual versions in the above example are "Standard Edition" and "Special Edition" - switching to Confluence shows the version names correctly:
Try the latest from Git. The Versions feature seems to still be evolving so keeping up with all the Kodi GitHub changes might take some time.

Longtime Aeon Nox skin user (since 5.7.3). I'm building a new box for my main theater room, and running the latest KODI (20.3) and your skin (9.1.3) using ShowCase list view.
There is one difference that I haven't figured out a way around yet. When navigating the list in ShowCase of 5.73, I used to press down arrow once to move forward/backward a half page at a time. When moving forward, the 6 items on the right side would move the left side. In SiLVO 9.1.3, it moves the entire list (so now I have to scan the full list instead of just keeping my focus on the right side). Is there a setting somewhere that lets me move the list a half a page at a time instead?
BTW - do you have a donation page?
Thank you,
Tjoe70s
I think there was a request to change this many many years ago... Recent changes had people going loopy so I likely won't change any defaults for awhile.
Sorry

Not sure if I can add this easily. I would have to remove some other options to make room for it. The information toggle for instance and then slide the logo over so it's centered above the new image...

Wow... I guess this has been the problem all along... I do not use slim list so likely would have never noticed
Are all those having issues using the slimlist setting?
Easy fix, I used the wrong include
Fixed on GitHub, thanks

Hi Mike....
Yes... that is my setting... woooooow... I literally have no idea how @
yaqwa got noticed of this in relation to Favorites... HATS OFF yaqwa
Hi Mike,
I wonder if you could point me in the right direction to allow me to customise my music views:
I really like the Slim List for viewing album songs, but I don’t want that view for artist albums lists (I like the ‘default’ list that shows album covers).
Where could I find the view (the xml file name) to force Slim List for just the song list view please?
Thank you
Garry

@mikeSiLVO
Thank you for your hard work and updates to the skin.
I have an issue where the mediaflags at the bottom are being cut off. It only happens on the episode level of tv shows like recently added episodes. The movies counterpart is fine.
I noticed this in following views: List, FanartList, MyFlix, TriPanel, and Icons. FanartList is my preference (see picture).
Also, the spacing between each flag seems a bit wide.
I'm running WIN10 22H2 with Kodi 20.3. My screen is 1920x1080.
Skin version is 9.1.3 with only required skin add-ons installed.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.
My problem is fixed. I checked against the latest Kodi 21 Nightly and your latest GitHub version.
Thank you.

Sorry, but this isn't possible.
The slim list toggle is either on or off. Once it is on then it becomes the list view by conditional include.
Pretty sure the only way to do this would be to modify every one of the slim list includes to their own view with a different view id plus adding this new view everywhere else needed to make it selectable/usable... Not an easy mod
Ok. Thanks Mike.
I’ll take a look and see what’s involved in your slim list definition. At this stage I just want the music song list modified so it may not be too much for me to do.
Hi Mike, I have been using your skin for years. In my humble opinion it is the best bar none out their in the world of Kodi. Many thanks for your hard work and dedication
I am currently running Nexus v20.2 (2023-06-29). Since updating to Aeno Nox Silvo v9.1.3, I have noticed that for the "Select infoline", I am no longer able to display the "playlist statistics". If I select "playlist statistics" nothing is displayed on my playlist view. However, as a test, if I select "library statistics", this correctly shows the entire library as expected. (But this is not the info I want).
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
PS. This is occurring on my both my Windows version as well as on Android (Nvidia Shield)

I have a problem with hdr flags in the skin (v.9.1.2)
I'm using emby next gen to sync my movies with Kodi and I'm using the following syntax within the filename: somemovie.hdr10.atmos.mkv
However, dolby atmos flag is shown correctly but no hdr10 flag. Instead I only get sdr. When playing the movie and displaying the info screen I get the hdr10 flag shown just fine...
I already searched the forum but couldn't fine a solution here. What am I missing?
Is it also possible to get a hdr10plus flag even when Kodi just plays hdr10?
If you have not refreshed your library since Nexus was released then you need to update your stream details to include hdrtype.
I'll add an HDR10+ flag when Kodi can provide that hdrtype.
whatever I do I can't get this to work. I have readded my whole library and only get the hdr flag shown when playing the movie but not within the library.
atmos shows just fine. What am I missing?
Filename is like this: somemovie.hdr10.atmos.mkv

I'd forgotten about it but it's probably the same thing (bug?) I encountered in Nexus a while ago...
https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=372743
Small cosmetic bug. Year and runtime are squished together (under "Directed by") when the MPA rating is missing. This is the case for at least movies and tv shows. Since re-scraping to populate the rating doesn't actually fix the skin, figured I'd report it.
So...I experimented after the update for the skin on V20.4. I liked the mod you (mike silvo) made to DialogColorPicker.xml so the manual color change can be added. But that was for V21. So I took a chance and copied the file from 21 to my 20.4 and it works. I dunno if it'll mess with anything else or not but so far so good. Any possibility that could be a permanent change to the next update for v20.4?
