I just tried updated on my Krypton test install and everything went fine.
You could try deleting the skin.aeon.nox.silvo-6.0.8.zip file in your addons/packages folder then try updating again.
If it doesn't help then I will need a
debug log (wiki).

Thanks for the suggestion! Just before your response came in I went and restored a backup from a week ago (I'm on LibreELEC, so it was easy for me) and after booting up after the restore, the skin updated automagically to 6.0.8 correctly!

Many thanks mikeSILVO for the help.... I have one other small question. It appears that music artist logos automatically download. This may not be an issue for some but some artists I have dont have logos.
Is there a way to stop these downloading or displaying. I I have tried to manually delete them but they reappear. If you guys could help that would be great
Is this a button no to turn off that I cannot find on the skin or is it to do with something else

To answer you're further question yes I would like to be able to either turn artist logos off as an option or stop then downloading automatically. I suppose is there an option for the in skin helper

Im trying to get Conditional weather background ( background for Weather menu to change regarding of the current weather and conditions). Can this be achieved on this skin? I get the forcast as widget but no luck eith background. Any advice would we appriciated. Txs
Edit: Here is how.
1. Download Image pack from add-ons
2. Enter weather and choose that pack
3. Then in Backgrounds for Weather meny the Conditional weather will show up.

I checked it on my old HTPC. The above mentioned option in Helix was "enable small shift".
It would be really really great if this option could be realised in Krypton again

My reply you quoted provided you the instructions.
Click the GitHub link on the first page and click my username before the Aeon-Nox-SiLVO and look for the forked script.toolbox repository then check the last commit.

So... Enable that in Krypton cause the option was never removed, it is still there

You can use either the latest update I pushed to my repo or the download on the first page. You don't have to use git.
Updates have no effect on settings or menus.

There are 3 labels so add it to all of them if you don't know which one you need.
