Is this the Kodi repo version of the skin and not the GitHub version?

It's the repo version.

It's the repo version.

Please try the GitHub version. Pretty sure that's been fixed. I also added the chapter markers you mentioned and bumped the version number so its easier to tell when using the latest.

v9.0.2 the overlapping text is fixed. Thank you. Smile
Chapter markers look good.

1.  Favorites are not working.  If it matters I use a path sub to my NAS.  Works ok on default skin though.

2.  In progress Movies seems to be broken

Keep up the good work.  Thanks..

Gonna need more information on "Favorites are not working". Like what exactly isn't working and if you have updated the Main Menu to use the new Favourites window and not the old Dialog that was removed. The favourites dialog option will be removed from the Main Menu customizer but I do not think Skin Shortcuts will delete the now invalid path. Just update your favourites menu item to be the first option and not the second one that says dialog.

As for the in-progress movies being broken. Check your change action option and see if its correctly pointing where you want it to. I think some old skin playlists were renamed and I forgot that I did that.

That fixed both issues.  FYI Unwatched also needed to be updated and is now working.   Thank you so much!
A requested feature requires some testing. I added support for jurialmunkey's script.skinvariables Viewtype Builder option to the video library. It is for the Video library only, for now, and that refers to Movies, Sets, TV Shows, Episodes, and Seasons as well as any addons that correctly report those matching content types. Regardless of any previous defaults and with the script installed and enabled it "should" ignore Kodi's built-in view mode selection so any chosen view will follow the library or plugin/addon preference chosen. Any issues from those with or without script.skinvariables installed would be helpful Nerd

There are two ways to select the views. The first is in Skin Settings > Advanced > Set default viewtypes and the second is in the Video library views.

Would also be great if anyone could check over the skin textures. It was reported on GitHub that certain images had their colors changed when using ImgBot to optimize the files so if any images are not correct I can revert to the old files before the next skin update.

The latest skin version on GitHub for Nexus/Omega with the viewtype bulder added is HERE.
I am using the TexturePacker.exe from HERE to make the Textures.xbt file so hopefully that is the most current version.

Remember, it is for the Video library only so please do not say that it is not working for any other areas like Music or Live TV/PVR stuff...

Thanks Smile
Hi Mike,
I am trying to find an easier way to update a show using "Scan for new content" without having to update the entire DB.
My DB is quite large and it can take a large amount of time to finish an update, and sometimes I've just added a new episode that I want updated and don't want to wait for many minutes for it to show up.

Right now I have to go into the Videos > Files > (Navigate to show) > Item Menu > Scan for new content, (which is still quicker than waiting for a library update),
but would love it if I could add that same menu option to the item menus in the library.

Is this something I could add myself though a custom command, or would you possibly consider it as a feature request?

Also, was hoping I could get an answer (even unfavorable) to my previous post?

Is there a setting anywhere to make the the progress bar semi-transparent, squeeze the image so it's not cutoff at the bottom by the progress bar, move the progress bar to the top, or any other setting that would allow to see subtitles when pausing?
I remember there was a setting to get rid of the progress bar altogether, but that's like throwing the baby out with the bathwater.
I'm hoping there is a better solution I've missed.
Thanks!

As always, thanks for the wonderful skin and your hard work! 🙏

Very nice. Thank you! Was going to come and ask about that since it's something I really miss after moving over from Amber.
Now if I could ask kindly for an Ultra-Compact pause screen like Bart had added to Amber a few couple years back now. I had a demo picture somewhere if you wanted to see what I mean.

Here is Barts implementation in the Amber thread:

You can just scan for new content on the actual show in your library. Or the folder of the show in the source.

You can always move the subtitle position up but...

The seekbar is a little less than 50 pixels high and I have never noticed it blocking any subtitles.

Not sure if I will implement something like that atm. I would have to redo the current OSD so all the buttons match whatever new ones I need to make. If I do add then it will probably not be until after Omega is released.
Hi, Mike.  In the TV section, using low list view, there is "sdr" between the episodes and unwatched info.  Is that by design?  Doesn't change when
I highlight HDR shows.  Thanks.

No, that's a bug. Will have a fix on GitHub in a few minutes.
Starting today I will separate the Nexus and Omega versions on GitHub. From now on master branch will be for Omega.
Hi Mike...

Just wanted to thank you for all your hard work in keeping this great skin up to date.

Thanks! Smile
Thanks Mike, but I'm not seeing the same options as you.
I'm on an Nvidia Shield if that matters.

I am usually launching from one of the widgets (progress, recently added), but it looks like they use the same menu as well.

I'm also not seeing a way to adjust for subtitle positioning.

Not sure what to say to that other than it's happened to me enough to post about it.
I know it's mostly in anime, but I'll try to dig deeper the next time I see it to try and get to the root.
Maybe it's all from the same sub group, or a bad setting on my system.

Thanks!
