is there a way to activate fake discart in Silvo Mod for Krypton?
I liked it so much in Isengard and for my foreign language some discarts are not available.

Sorry if it was asked earlier in the forums. and also sorry if im just being blonde, but it seems that backgrounds are not working on custom widgets?
Is that correct or am i missing something?

If you make changes to the code across several .xml files and then MikeSilvo makes changes to some of those same files, how would you suppose he could keep from overwriting your changed files when he issues an update?? YOU should make notes of what your changes are and to what files the changes were made. Then you can just edit your changes to the updated skin files. A simple copy and paste would do the trick for you. Also a look at the git for the version of the skin you use could possibly give you advanced warning of the changes that are coming....
You might also turn off automatic updates. This way you can be ready for the change.
I am not changing anything with the .xml files, only adding personalized textures (.xbt) and fonts. I've been doing copy/paste all this time and I know I can turn off automatic updates. My question is whether it is possible or not to keep those textures when updating, instead of erasing them on every update.
I guess this would be a question which concerns Kodi in general, since all updates are done in the same fashion. I guess I wrote before I thought it through.
Anyway, it would be nice to have a different post where we would all share .xbt textures besides the stock Aeon Nox ones.

For that to be possible, you would have to add the streams to your library, since video playlists only work for library items. Check to see if the video streaming addon you use has an option to export the streams to the Kodi library (a lot do). Then, add the folder where the streams are stored as a video source, and scan it like any other video source. This should add them to your library. After that, you can include them in any playlist you have.

Not sure if this is accurate but a google search showed that there should be a Programs entry called My OSMC that will take you to those settings. If not you would have to ask for help from the OSMC forums.

Blur effect is being wonky ATM so I will have to look into. For the tomatoes rating I haven't installed the latest betas of skin helper yet so I don't see what you see since it all stopped working for me when OMDb stopped providing that info without an api key.

You would have to change the color in the xml or pick a color for the System Bars in the color picker so you can see it regardless of background.
Hey Boss...(Mike) I've been using tripanel view for movies and TV episodes for a while now. I have noticed more frequently sometimes I'll enter in to a movie list and tripanel and list view will swap back and forth on the own. Is this something you know about or something I have wrong in a setting somehow....

This sounds like a possible ViewModes6.db issue to me. Over time I switch views often for testing or the family likes a particular look so they switch and sometimes there are issues like remembering what view you last chose and other weirdness.
I'd start with deleting the ViewModes6.db file in
userdata (wiki)/Database folder while Kodi is off and restarting. You will then have to select your default view choices again but if your issues are related to that then all shall be right in the world once again.

Backdrops in the series and movies folders are named backdrop, backdrop1, backdrop2 etc.

You have to enable Extra-fanart and cache it for Movies, TV Shows or both in Sidemenu > Background.
Fanart and extra fanart are and were enabled for all series. Even when I set fallback it does nothing. It keeps showing the first backdrop only.
Using Emby addon, perhaps this has something to do with it?
I do not see the options cache movie and series extrafanart.
First I'd like to say, great job with the skin. I'm an old user of Aeon and just switched to this one. Seems its got everything I like but can't seem to figure out Extra-fanart to be exactly right. I was able to get my images "cached". This enabled them to work in the root of the TV Library. Then I came across two issues.
First, its only caching 4 images, and only those 4 images cycle for me. Some of my shows have LOTS of images. Smallville for example has 106.
Second, even though its enabled in the season level and the episode level of the library, the images are not cycling there.
In past versions of Aeon neither of these two things were issues so I'm hoping this won't be an issue. I was most recently using Aeon Madnox and only the 2nd thing was an issue so thats why I switched to Aeon Nox: Silvo hoping to fix these things and finally have perfect setup again.
I'm having some issues with Auto-completion working does it not support it?
