Other skins are regularly updated in official repo and the version there is kind of up to date. Why is this skin not updated for so many time in official repo? Is there any problem with it? Can someone give me a hint? It's the third time I ask this and didn't get any answer yet... Is this a "delicate" matter? I guess there should be a logical explanation, but I can't see it...

Thank you! My forum searches came up empty.
The github version fixes the lyrics overlay.
I am seeing a bug in that only the list view of the different viewtypes, and popup windows have a 0% transparency background now. It's completely black.
It's not a huge annoyance but is there a file we can edit to fix this? Thanks in advance.
(edited, I'm not native english and was saying 0% opacity first, it's 100% opacity!)

Would seem to me that your Android TV should have a USB port that could read a stick or a USB hard drive. So you could download the git version and do all the stuff to the file you need to do (like extracting and renaming) on the PC/laptop. Then copy it to the USB stick and put it in your TVs USB port and copy it to where it needs to be. Surely Android TVs have some file manager you can use to do this.

Thanks for the suggestion, but that is not possible. My USB drive in that port is enabled has the main apps installation drive, and if I try to access it with any file explorer, the drive gets disabled. I would need a repo file or similar, but there is none. I really would like to know the reason for that lack of upgrading in official repo... it should be something logical... but I have no idea...

I know nothing about Android TVs. I do have Android tablets and they should be similar. Normal way of doing things like this would be to open a web browser, download the file from the git Mike has. Then follow the instructions
HERE. It may appear to be quite involved but it's not.
As for updating the skin - Mike usually doesn't push an update until he feels the skin is ready for general release. Might be he's waiting for people to try it to see if there are any more bugs he can fix. What ever the reason may be it's Mike's decision to make. If you can't deal with it maybe a different skin might suit you needs better.
System hang when I press the screenshot button in the player controls, when watching a movie. I am using CoreElec 19.1 on Odroid N2 box. I can give a log but when to take, after a reboot?
Is it working for you other guys on other systems? Thanks.

No option to edit my post so I reply to say a CE dev tells me "The skin is not 100% compatible with python3.". So maybe that's causing the issue.

I have the following questions for your nice skin
1. Is it possible to set a timeout for closing Video OSD ?
2. How can I set default menu on startup of Kodi in this skin ?

Skin Settings (Pic 1)>Main Menu (Pic 2)>SETUP THE AEON NOX MAIN MENU
Put the menu item you want Kodi to open on in the 3rd position. I have Kodi open mine to SYSTEM (Pic3)

It's not possible with my configuration. I need a repository file or similar.
Each time I ask for the reasons of the lack of upgrade (+1 year) in official repo, I never get a proper reason, but the same kind of answer: "use another skin". That opacity and hostility is beyond me... I guess curiosity is not reason enough? Weird...

Yes I was looking for an option in the menus to this. Note that when you set the menu to icons the last menu is used instead of the 3rd.
Thanks.

To start Kodi in an specific position, you have to observe where it opens initially, then move your Main Menu items up or down to accomodate the order you want and leave the one you want to open to in the position of the one Kodi actually opens (as "spykos" kindly illustrated).
There is not an specific setting to tell the skin where to start.
Hope this helps

On every Android device with K19 that I have tried to install the default AeonNoxSilvo and /or mods I end up with a frozen skin that does not work.
I am a fan and distressed by this.

This is very strange. I have it running on Android TV Box with 19.1 (fresh install) and never had a freeze or crash (compared to other skin which was crashing 19.1).
Have you tried this on fresh install of 19.1 ?
