Random fanart, like "Kodi random movie fanart" seems to be selected 100% randomly. It does not take into account movies that do not have any fanart.
So many times it randomly selects movies that have no fanart so the user sees a black screen instead of an expected random fanart.
As expected behavior, random fanart is still selected randomly, but now it first verifies the movie and/or TV show selected at random, indeed has fanart to use.
Basically if randomly selected movie and/or TV show selected has no fanart then we have to pick another random movie and/or TV show until we find one that does.
I found in formal 5.8.2 Aeon Nox BigNoid version "- Fix black background on Home screen for uncached fanart.": it seems to be the same issue, but it should be fixed now if I understand correctly.
I want to make it clear that I'm talking about the background fanart on the home screen.
Is there already any configuration solution to this?

I would like to ask the skin developer regarding ratings in Aeon Nox silvo, is there a way to make the skin shows all the ratings from all providers like what we have in aeon tajo ?

I know that when I press the i button for movie in aeon nox I can see some ratings but still not all the ratings that can be shown with other skins
appreciate any help in achieving this or telling me where in aeon tajo skin you programmed to display the ratings. maybe I can try my luck and edit it

And this is how Aeon Nox Silvo looks. I think it's only coded to show 2 ratings icons (no vote count) but 2 more would be nice imo. There's also the 3rd scraper rating with number of votes as well. It appears there is room in the bars to accommodate them.

Sorry, I only meant to be helpful. Perhaps you can help me? Are you able to auto scrape all those other rating sources and their icons you showed in your screenshot links or are you manually editing nfo's or something to add the extra source data? Currently, I'm scraping using UMS with an ODBI key but only displaying 2 icons with this skin. Are you saying the reason I only show 2 ratings icons is because that is all this skin is coded for? That other skins like Tajo would display more without manually editing them in? TIA.

Apologies for reporting this at what looks like a late stage of your Skin updates, but I have just installed the latest version from GitHub and notice that the Photos ‘List’ view appears as shown below. Any chance of making the black box transparent or translucent?

Ok, well if theres not a way to make the widget fanart less transparent, then is there a way to at least make the info backgrond darker so its more readable??

Yay! Aeon Nox Silvo finally supports HDR10/DV tags on Nexus. Ironically the standard Nexus build can’t play back DV on my 2019 Shield and Maven’s build stutters for me. Oh well.
I’m hoping Zidoo releases ZDMC 20 for my Z9X so I can use ANS with it.

Using Nexus and Windows 10
My remux files only flag HDR10 not DV ? Possibly as Kodi doesn't play back DV?

Probably a Windows issue. Clearly shows the DV tag on my 2019 Nvidia Shield.
I also found out that the latest Master nightlies support DV playback so no more need to run modified builds on the Shield anymore. Hopefully it won’t stutter like Maven’s builds did.
