Thank you for providing the detailed TUT. I'm sure this works for others but I have problems (Ha, naturally). During the setup I get pop-ups - The MovieDB Helper Error, but I finish the setup anyway. I notice a whole bunch of TV shows appear in the widget in no particular order. They appear to be everything airing on TV but I have no interest in all of them... just what's in my library. When I select 'Your Airing This Week' from the TV submenu, I get The MovieDB Helper Error again. It doesn't appear like in the last screenshot. I get the Movies, TV Shows, Files, Playlist, Video Add-ons window instead.
I figured I got the error(s) because I'm using v20 so I installed Matrix. Did the setup again, although it was still present, and got the same errors. The widget result was unchanged - multi listings and not exclusive to my library. The wrong submenu result as well. I also tried Embuary Info and Embuary Helper instead of The MovieDb Helper.
I suppose that is just how it works and thinking it would only display TV shows I have in my library is wrong. I just remember Next Aired in the past only reflected my library. Maybe someone could confirm if they too show multi airings not exclusive to their library? If that's true and it doesn't work like it used to, tbh, I have no use for it. If it's false, I'd be interested in pursuing my problem starting with providing a debug log.
Thank you again @
lynxstrike for taking the time to help.

I checked the errors you encounter and you are right... they are happening. We have to report them in the appropriate forums.
Follow the next, it will give you what you want exactly (I've just made the process myself):
Point your submenu or widget to:
-> Add-ons -> Video add-ons -> Embuary Info -> "Trakt.tv - Next airing episodes of your TV show library" -> Next 7 days -> Create menu item here
It's done...
Sorry for the las mistakes, I configured my skin months ago and everything went smooth, but I found you another way.
Let me know if you have any trouble...
Nope
It's ok. I'm always the problem child. I'm sure it works for you. Thank you anyway.
I notice the top right clock got cutoff for some reason but after selecting the submenu item and returning to the main page it's back to normal. You can see my results:

mmm... that's a first for me... I have no idea. You should check the screen calibration in Kodi settings.. check that the margins are ok. It's the only thing that occurs to me could affect you.
I wasn't clear. The clock went back to normal... even after a restart. That was just a side note. As my screenshots show, my concern is that even with the new settings using Trakt.tv, nothing appears for the widget or the submenu.

Nothing appears ? That's weird... I have just made an entire menu to try this and it's working.
-> Add-ons -> Video add-ons -> Embuary Info -> "Trakt.tv - Next airing episodes of your TV show library" -> Next 7 days ->
Create menu item here
You have to click on "Next 7 days", another windows appears with the leyend "create menu item here". Click on it and the widget gets created, working.
That's exactly the paths I've followed - 3 or 4 times. When doing the submenu I get to the last path - CREATE MENU ITEM TO HERE and select it. It creates the submenu. It just doesn't do anything for me.
When doing the widget, after selecting the NEXT 7 DAYS path, I'm not presented with the CREATE MENU ITEM HERE - It only offers USE AS WIDGET so I select it. There's nothing else to select. As you saw in my previous screenshots, it doesn't do anything for me either.
I'm on Matrix latest Git of this skin. I don't have any actual TV show files in my individual folders. They are dummy folders but they do contain all artworks and nfo's. I wouldn't think it matters but thought it worth a mention again.

You are doing it right... select "use as widget".
After you press it, it will take you to another screen, where it will assign it the name "Next 7 Days"... you can leave it or change it...
About the ver. you are in... I don´t think it has any impact on this...
Probably silly question but... I don't have script.trakt installed as a skin settings option. That shouldn't matter should it?

No, I don't have it neither...
Embuary Info add-on does the work...
So... have you set it to your likings.. ? Did it worked ?
No, not working for me but thanks just the same.

Do you know why I have this half page overlay when playing music with lyrics in v19?
