Quote:Many of the open case mod features use Skin Info Service to function correctly. After that they need to be enabled in the few views that support it.

The skin uses the first movie in a set for the MPAA rating classification.
I think the views that I prefer don't support open case  (Rightlist and Lowlist)

I have worked out what the issue is with the rating classification for movie sets.  I am using UK rating classifications and if the first film in the set is PG, then there is no rating classification designated to the set, it remains blank.  It seems to work fine for all other ratings.

Do you have a prefix to the classification?

The skin looks for:
Code:
UK:PG or United Kingdom:PG

If you installed from Kodi repo, it's not yet implemented.
Latest GIT ver has it. Just downlod from here.

If you need help with the process just drop a line here...

Thanks so much,
but is safe to use latest GIT on android device connected in my living room??

May be I'll wait for the new repo.. or not?

The changes will be pushed as soon as Mike Silvo can.
About if it is safe... I can't answer that because I don't use Android... I have no idea!

Yes, this is what is in my NFO file (created using Tiny Media Manager)

 <mpaa>UK:PG</mpaa>
  <certification>UK:PG</certification>

This is from Back to the Future collection.  All 3 movies are UK:PG, but the movie set rating is blank.
If I change the rating of the first film to UK:18, then the set shows the rating as being 18.
Change it back to UK:PG, and the set reverts to being blank.

It makes no sense having logos if the skin only uses clearart when both are present (it displays both a poster and a logo in the show list so why not clearart and clearlogo on a pause screen?).

Also, with logo enabled on shows with a clearlogo image and NO clearart, the pause screen still shows no logo, so surely this is broken?
Aeon Nox 5 did not display the clearart. It only showed the clearlogo instead of title.

I moved the image to the corner and the skin will prefer clearart but will show clearlogo if it's not available. If both are not in the DB then it will fallback to poster.
Thanks for the great skin, but in Aeon Nox 5 it would display clearart during playback and initial pausing of the video, and when it dropped back to the main pause screen, clearart would disappear and the logo would display where the show name currently shows in your skin.  This looks better than just seeing huge font for the show name,

This is what I meant when I said "and", I didn't mean together but it utilises both images.

 <mpaa>UKTongueG</mpaa>

Change it back to UKTongueG, and the set reverts to being blank.

Skin variable had an extra space on line 1096 in Variables.xml

Code:
<value condition="String.Contains(Container(4500).ListItem(0).MPAA,UK:PG) | String.Contains(Container(4500).ListItem(0).MPAA,United Kingdom:PG)">BBFC_PG_Certificate_UK.png</value>

Will be fixed next update and is on git now
What great service. Cheers Mike Smile
Think I have found another bug. The case view in the widgets for movies. DVD and Blueray disc cases display fine but 4K cases don't display properly on the widget.
Thanks for the great skin!

I have a question regarding the 'list (expanded)' widget for the home screen:
I use this to display recently added movies/tv but I found that if the list is viewed and an item other that the 'newest' is selected, then I navigate back to the menu the widget collapses and stays on the item which was highlighted.. from what I can tell this doesn't refresh back to the newest item when focus is lost.
This means newly added items are sat there without us being aware, since the collapsed view is still showing the old selected item.

I hope my explanation makes sense Smile

Is there any way to force the widget to refresh back to the top when focus is lost, or am I missing something else obvious?
Don't know if it makes a difference, but I call subtitles search directly with a button on my remote that's mapped to activatewindow(subtitlesearch). Most of the time, the pause button is in front of the subtitle search window. When I pause prior to calling activatewindow(subtitlesearch), the pause button is behind the subtitle search window as it should be. Could it be because it's low-end hardware? I'm running CoreElec 19, on a s905x amlogic chipset.
When you see the covers of the movies, you can see the trailer of the movies as it happens with Netflix, automatically?

I'm sorry if this has been posted before, but searching hasn't found anything.

On 31st March, I downloaded the latest Silvo skin zip file direct from the GitHub.
I placed it in my htpc, and from my Matrix Addons I installed from zip file.

The skin appears to have integrated well with Matrix except for fast reversing, where it usually freezes when trying to resume normal speed.

But my main concern is that when checking the skin's version in Matrix, it appear to still be v 9.7.6.
Can someone confirm which skin version I am using?

This is the Matrix repository version of the skin... https://mirrors.kodi.tv/addons/matrix/sk...nox.silvo/
Hello,
I am a user of aeon nox silvo skin. Last update, July 2020. It is not usable for some android devices, equipped with v10 or Xiaomi.
Mounted in virgin kodi, it looks like it is updating, updating what seems to be problematic, in the main menu accessing only the video addon, in the freez submenu ... questions: possible a future update, with solving the problems?I configure something wrong? Thank you!
